As someone that goes to an old school butcher on a regular basis, I have a high appreciation for those that still practice the traditional meat arts. Molinari is a prime example of that in Italian form. Dry, cooked, & raw sausages spiced and cured into flavorful tube form. What’s not to like here? pepperoni rewlz.

I’ve been eating their Italian Dry Salame for the past few days. OMG this is the BEST that I’ve ever had. It’s well worth the price! Good thing that I ordered two…

OMG this place is good… The only thing i brought on my epic 5 day motorcycle adventure was a 3 pound salami club… and did it ever make the trip go in style. I fear all my friends who still think I am vegetarian will find it that I broke my 5 year escape from meat to be entranced with this stuff. but seriously… i have some in my office. some in my house. and some stored in a compartment on my bike. You know.just in case…

I LOVEMOLINARISALAME! You can ring the door bell, tell them what you want and walk out the door with the best salame in San Francisco! For an Italian, it doesn’t get any better.

Ok, this one star is for the horrible customer service I just received. Here is the low down. I have ordered several times using the on line ordering feature with no problems whatsoever, very happy. Love the products. Well, this week I ordered a string of hot salame secchi, and upon arrival noticed that they sent the wrong item. Instead they sent the non hot variety. The charge incurred was for the hot variety, about 15 cents more per pound. Ok, mistakes happen. I sent a few emails, with no response, so I left a voice mail towards the end of the day. I received a return call this morning, several minutes ago from Suzy. She tells me that she is sorry, it was her fault. She apparently wrote down the order incorrectly. Sometimes it is the guys in the warehouse, but she fully took responsibility for the error. Kudos for stepping up. But that is where it ended. I was then told that the only remedy was to credit my account for the difference in price. What would amount to about 75 cents. I told Suzy that what I really wanted was to return what I did not order, and have them ship out the correct order. She informed me that I would have to pay to ship it back. When I told her that I thought this was unreasonable since I did not make the mistake, she then told me she needed to put me on hold that she was getting very upset. After a short wait, someone named Lou came on the line, and pretty much told me the same thing. He suggested I keep it and enjoy it and they would be glad to ship the correct order out today. I asked him if I was expected to pay the shipping for the incorrect order, and he said yes. I then told Lou that I thought this was a poor remedy and that he may lose me as a customer, he said«Thank you very much» and hung up. UPDATE: After sending this review to the owner, I received the correct order today at no additional cost. So while the initial customer service was poor, the resolution was righteous and swift.
