Just a great place ! Love the food/drinks/chill vibes. The owners are gems! I would recommend going there for sure– you won’t be disappointed

5 stars for the pesto creaminess their caprese sandwich is. Just order for pick-up, as the dining area is meh, a hipster haven, meh. That sammie tho, I’m all about it.

This a a nice place to hang out. My man and I were very comfortable hanging out here while our tire was patched. We had two draft beers; we did not try the food but would return. Nice to have a low key place in this area.

My boyfriend & I were in town for the SF Craft Beer Festival and arrived early. We were both starving and he decided to look for something in the area we could walk to. Great find! Friendly place, beer on tap, breakfast only, games/books to keep you & your company entertained. Definitely our kinda joint! :) We shared a breakfast sandwich since we needed to save room for the beer sampling ;) Deeeeliciousness! :) Ps…check out the art

I found a hair in my sandwich. I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume this was not standard but then I saw the other reviews posted where folks received hair in their food as well. Also, the items are too expensive.

Picked this place on a whim as a co-working destination and was so glad I did. Loved the vibe, great music, and the staff was awesome.

This is a cute spot and I suppose could be great for a quick breakfast sandwich. I visited on a late Saturday morning. My wife ordered the scramble with cheese and ham panini. She said it was not bad. I ordered the veggie english muffin & rarely do I dole out poor reviews but I felt it necessary in this case to make sure the next patron is not served rotten avocado. My english muffin was not toasted, the lettuce was old and as you can see from the photo the avocado was far less than fresh. I’m not sure how anyone could serve this to a person with a clear conscious. Steer clear from the veggies.

No need to line up in hour long queues. We got a tale straight away. The atmosphere was great with excellent service. The menu was simple and came with nice fresh food

We love this place for one reason — ANTHONY! His service was fantastic and he made awesome sandwiches. The club panini is grand. This is a great place to come for a casual lunch and beer. Great service and nice atmosphere. You can get seats near the windows to watch the city pass by. Even when it starts to get crowded, Anthony handles it in style.

Just had lunch here with my son. Not a bad place I think great for drinking beer after hours. Lunch was ok, service good. Nothing special about the food, close to where he works. I’ll come back after hours and try the beer.

I was in the area around 11am and thanks to Unilocal and fellow Unilocalers, gave it a try. When I found lots of metered parking right out front, I knew it was meant to be.(think I paid $ 1.75 for 45mins). Ambiance is nice, small but not tiny, with lots of windows and light and 2 small tables outside. I loved the combination of regular vs barstool type of tables. They serve alcohol too which is a bonus(I didn’t indulge in that). I picked up the breakfast menu then asked the girl at the counter what she would recommend. She said they were serving lunch too and that there were options there also, and they were sort of done with the breakfast menu, but the guy said they had 1 egg left so if I wanted breakfast they would be okay with making something for me. That was a plus! The girl recommended the: + UPPERPARKINGLOTSANDWICH($ 9.75?), which I ordered right off the bat. It was perfectly made, a turkey, bacon, red onion, Tapatio aioli sandwich on a perfectly toasted french roll. It came with a side salad with a nice vinaigrette(posting pictures). I enjoyed my table near the door right by the corner window. I had a lot of light so it was a bit warm but it’s SF so I try to enjoy sun and warmth as much as possible! The other patrons consisted of a small group of guys talking about casual business, a small group of 20 somethings, and some women with their young children enjoying the outdoor seating. Service is awesome. Chill and friendly. I paid using a card(they have Square) and left a good tip. This is a cool spot to check out! I just checked out their website, they have happy hour from 4−7pm, and have extended hours on the weekend.

Great spot for barstool dining. No frills short breakfast menu offers quiche and a couple other options to go with some great drip coffee. Super friendly service and nice mellow atmosphere to start your day! If you’re looking for an extensive menu and table service, not your place.

The food is delicious and the owner, Anthony, is very hospital and kind. He answered all my questions about food and beer and was able to accommodate me and my friends needs. He even offered a complimentary jelly tart from a hometown bakery across the way. I really love mom and pop places like this and you should definitely give this place a try!!! I did on a whim & I LOVEIT!!!

Well I was excited at first until I ordered my last meal there. I found hair in my panini. Very upsetting considering the $ 9.75 price tag for a tiny panini. The place is great however but that was a no no mistake! Really unhappy about this

Wonder how long it takes to make a sandwich. Finally ready after 15 min. Good crunch and fresh ingredients. Size is a bit small for the price but what are you going to do with rent these days. The worker brought it over saying there was a delay due to a large order coming in right before my order. Unfortunately I clearly overheard the guy behind the counter say he made a mistake and prepared a different sandwich but that he would just eat it for lunch. Good luck with the business dudes.

Small watering hole in a developing neighborhood. We just stopped in for a quick beer but it was fun to see other patrons familiar with each other. They serve food but we didn’t have any.

Great community space filled with chill people, local artwork, and delicious snacks. From the sandwiches to the homemade poptarts, there are great times to be had at Mission Public. It’s an extremely well kept and clean café with really friendly staff behind the counter. Only downside is that it often takes a bit of time for the food to come out, as everything is made to order behind the teeny counter. Take a breather, enjoy the stare of the creepy looking ventriloquist doll to the side of the register, and take the next few moments to remember that there is no need to rush your meal. And ta-da, your upper parking lot(MMM) or reuben(more MMM) will be out in no time. Fantastic happy hour, at $ 4 for beer on tap(Speakeasy beers!). They have a great bottled selection as well as some good wines.

There’s nothing cooler than a café that serves great coffee in the morning and wine and beer at night. Mission Public is just such a place. We happily stumbled upon this place on our way to a Litquake event, and decided to stop for a bite to eat. We both ordered a Reuben sandwich and a Limonata. We didn’t order wine or beer because the event we were heading to was going to serve wine. The owner pointed out that it was still Happy Hour and that there are drink specials for HH. We told him we will happily return for HH at another time. The Reuben was good. It came out warm and the rye bread was nicely browned. It came with some salad greens dressed lightly with a vinaigrette. Not bad for $ 9 something. The menu has a nice selection of sandwiches and beverages. Craft beer in bottles and on tap, wine and bottomless Mimosas are on offer. Coffee is from De La Paz Roasters, so it has to be good! I really liked the décor of this place. It’s a small place but there is a lot of seating. There are a couple of tables outside and inside, there is a communal table in the middle and bar height tables on the right and normal dining tables on the left. Artwork graces the walls above the bar height tables. The dining table by the bay window is reserved for diners only. It’s a nice spot for a meal for a group of people. And if you enjoy listening to rock music, this place is perfect for you. If only this place were in my neighborhood! I’d totally hang out here on Sunday mornings or have HH here after work! We can’t wait to return next time we’re in the Mission.

If you want to grab some good grub with some spirits and free wifi, look no further. This is the place to chill in the Mission with good food, snacks and music. If you can’t choose from their list of sandwiches, try the Chicken No Name, which comes with a side salad seasoned to perfection with just the right amount of dressing. Try their tarts from a local bakery to sweeten your day. The bartenders/waiters are friendly and helpful with recommendations. Parking is ample on the street with meters and nearby lots. The wooden tables and décor give a rustic feel. There are outlets for getting work done with your electronic device of choice. I wish I had discovered this place earlier!
