I was extremely impressed with Mr. Chan’s calligraphy. I got 1′ x 3′ Bible verse done in a cursive script. Mr. Chan was great about figuring out exactly what I wanted and talking through all the details. He even went and studied how to write a few characters in a new style that would work better for my piece.
Mr. Chan’s son, Calvin, handled the initial contact and worked as an English interface for his father. Calvin was prompt and courteous in answering my questions and getting the ball rolling.
Mr. Chan is a real artist and a hidden gem. I’d recommend not only getting any custom calligraphy fine with him, but even just checking or his well-​stocked shop or taking a few of his calligraphy classes. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
