Fantastic cut at a fantastic price. $ 12 for a basic cut and Connie was able to knock out three others before mine in about 45min. It’s a no-​frills place with quality service and extremely nice ownership. I’ll definitely return.

I found this place on Unilocal because I just moved to this area and needed a hair cut. I stopped by and was greeted once walking in. She asked what I wanted and I told her the type of hair cut I was looking for. I told her what I wanted and she went to town to cleaning me up and making my hair look presentable. After everything was said and done she did a great job and I have nothing bad to say. I will say one thing I didn’t know by the other comments that its a cash only so when the hair cut was all done I had to run to 7 – 11 to get the cash to pay for the hair cut. So FYI just make sure to bring cash unless you want to make the same mistake as I did.

I absolutely hate cutting my hair but I love this place they did a really good job. It didn’t take too long and my Afro is finally off of my head, even though I kind of miss it .

This place is pretty busy so make sure you make an appointment. It’s $ 10 – 12 for a haircut. Connie did a good job and did exactly what I asked for. Recently came here for another haircut and she wasn’t there but saw a new guy working. Not sure what his name is but he did just as good. If you want a fade, show them a picture or ask for #0 for the bottom.

So fast hair cut but looks great, for my son and I took 30min. Definitely good for price too.

This place is perfect for haircuts. BUT HAIRCUTS ONLY. It’s really cheap, compare to other salons, and the work is actually decent & quick. However, in terms of hair dyeing, this is one of the places to avoid.
I have been getting my haircut from this place so I decided to give this place a try in terms of hair dyeing. I’ve been growing my hair for years and wanted to try something new so I called to ask if they do Ombré. I was told by the guy that they do ombré for $ 150. So, I came in the next day with the picture of the type of haircut & hair color that I wanted. I was hoping to get Maggie or Connie since they always cut my hair but I ended up with this guy, which I never see at the salon. I showed a picture (black hair going blonde ombré type of hairstyle) and asked him if he can do it and he said «Ofcourse». I was happy in the beginning because I though he actually knows what he’s doing. However, the finish product was a disaster. He cut my hair shorter than I wanted and he bleached my whole head, except the roots. Uhmm. Where is the ombré? Pretty much the roots were black and then the rest of my hair were orange. No blending or whatsoever of the color. So, I ended up walking out the salon 150 $ down the drain for having really damage and ugly hair. Don’t get me wrong, the guy was really nice (I should’ve asked for his name) but the work that he did will not bring back the hair that I grew for years. Now, I have to play the waiting game again…
Haircut, probably will pass but Definitely not recommending this place for other types of services.

She is very friendly and has not given me, my son or daughter a bad haircut in 2 years. (My kids love the candy she gives them as well.)
It is sometimes busy on the weekend, but we just plan on waiting a bit when we need to go.

Hard to believe their price and quality living in the bay area. I was nervous to go to an unknown hair salon. My guy needed a haircut as well so we both went. Shop isn’t glamorous but, I can tell that they do basic to not super crazy haircuts well (I had a triangle nape undercut done perfectly) Ours was done by a guy name Zhi, I believe, and he knew what he was doing for only $ 12 each! Definitely deserves a great tip and will come again!

So, I came with my boyfriend a day before Christmas Eve in hopes of getting a quick haircut but it was extremely busy. We ended up waiting about an hour but it was totally worth it.
Connie did both my boyfriend and my hair and it came out awesome! I have a lot of hair so whenever I cut my hair, the hairdresser would usually cut it way too bob-​looking or short but Connie made it look amazing! My hair was originally very heavy, damaged, and long but after the trim it was very light and natural.
Overall loved this hairdresser and definitely recommend to others.

I have a haircut hairdressers always mess up, but they did an amazing job. I’m so pleased, got just what I wanted and will definitely go back there again!

Per my wife’s recommendation, I tried maggie one week prior to my wedding and only to find myself returning to her on my wedding day for final touch-​up and styling. She is not a typical Chinese hair stylist; she listens to the customers’ needs and takes her time. She is very approachable, professional, and funny. I am proud to say that after 28 years of searching, I have found a hairstylist that I can trust.

Came in today and got a haircut for $ 12. Normally, many places charge $ 20+. There wasn’t any wait time when I came in and I was seated almost immediately. I told the stylist what I wanted and she got it perfectly and even better than I wanted it to be. They’re very polite and check with you that everything is going good. I was in desperate need of a haircut because my hair was too long and this will be my new go to whenever I need it. :)

So sweet! Connie is kind and funny. Plus, it’s a good cut for a GREAT price.

Maggie has been cutting my hair for years. She is the best at what she does. She is patient and kind. She is great with kids also. Now it costs $ 12 for mens haircuts and $ 15 for women. I come back to her because she will get your hair the way you want it.

I come here for haircut sometimes, they’re okay.
Came back to ask how much it is for hair straightening and they said come in for a quote. I got there 3 minutes later and they said they are booked and told me that i needed to make an appointment. Lady, gas isn’t free and when you told me to go there, i went there. I’m not even coming back anymore for haircuts either. Wasted my time.
I’ll go back to the dude on mission street for $ 10 cuts who does it just as good.

Cheap, good, quick. I come from nJ once a year and only get my haircut here. Seriously… And this time I also got my 4 year old her first haircut here. I’ve paid up to 500 for my haircut in NYC and really I’ve never gotten a better cut than here. This is not a fancy place and they don’t shampoo or dry your hair but they do a good job with cuts, and they charge only a little extra for a wash and dry. Honestly I would highly recommend. This is about trusting someone to cut your hair. They do a good job and they do it well. No frills and mo up charge.

Decided to cut my hair short! Looked at reviews and saw that this place was loved, scheduled an appointment with Connie, and when I got there I was picked up by this younger girl even though I said I had an appointment. The girl started cutting my hair and after being back there for about 3 minutes she asked, «did you want a-​line?» To which I responded with a firm no. When I get into the car afterwards, I realize I didnt check it thoroughly in the shop and see that there are two distinct seperate layers and its uneven all around, like a failed a-​line. It looked like she didnt do anything except cut a chunk out of the back! Had to re-​cut it myself at home. Not worth the 15 bucks.

Wow I called and was in a rush and Connie said come in I’ll take care of you. She cut my hair and did a awesome job. Hands down best price and cut in SF. 12 dollars a haircut! Connie is my official barber!

All members of the staff take their time to make sure you get exactly what you want. You can tell they have lots of experience and have dedicated a large part of their lives to this fine vocation.
