The smell of BBQ floating from this Union Plaza Farmers’ Market stand was intoxicating. It was the scent of delicious. Popping over, I inquired from the friendly Elizabeth if I could get a chicken kebab. No dice, she was out of them, but instead offered a more expensive meal plate. I didn’t want to spend that much and didn’t want the sides, so I bargained her down for a few dollars less for just a piece a la carte. We had a deal. She ending up placing way more than one piece of chicken into some foil while apologizing it was«just» white meat. We are all good there sweetheart. She then topped it with a generous pour of succulent BBQ sauce. I felt like I was coming out of this one the winner. One bite proved that to be accurate. Finally, she insisted I take a plastic bag to put it in so I don’t get BBQ all over myself. Striking a deal, watching out for my clothes, and serving up some outstanding chicken. This could be as good as it gets, and definitely five stars.
