Finally, a «woman doctor» who really cares about you! I’ve had my fair share of bad gynecologists so it was quite the treat to meet Janis! First, she is so sweet! Second, she is very knowledgable but doesn’t make you feel like an idiot! Third, she loves questions! A doctor who takes the time to listen and answer questions? yes, she is it!

I’ve been going to the Women’s Health Clinic at UCSF for years and have generally had a great experience. Janis is the best nurse practitioner I’ve met there and was very personable, has a good sense of humor and gave me her undivided attention. She spent a considerable amount of time getting to know me, talking about family history, etc. I felt extremely comfortable asking questions and even though I hate going to the gyno, she makes it as tolerable as possible.
