This place had nothing that I can read, be we eventually made enough hand signals to get what we were looking for. All my mom wanted was soy sauce. And not just any soy sauce(i.e.Kikkoman soy sauce). She wanted the legit stuff, the stuff locals put on their food. She got something that was definitely soy sauce and we were on our way. Be warned. Unless you know Chinese, or know how to exactly say what you are looking for you might have a hard time communicating.

It’s away from all the crowds on Stockton but close enough, just few shops down from Asia Garden. They have a limited selection of veggie in the front. Some cookies and dried noodles to the right. What they may be most popular for are the varieties of raw nuts, seeds, grains, dried shrimp and such they have in bulk to the left. They have more stuff inside like the canned and bottled condiments. Their prices are quite good, if not better than some places(definitely cheaper than the grocery store just a few shops up on Broadway). Small packages of preserved cabbage is 6/$ 1 here while most places have it at 5/$ 1.
