Lenaya Kimball

Lenaya was an incredible Doula. My husband and I had not even intended to go the route of a doula, but after learning more about the benefits, and considering that this would be our first baby, we decided to hire Lenaya. She was warm, supportive and open to our ideas and concerns. After the birth of our baby girl, my uterus contracted around my placenta and instead of being able to gently, easily finish out the birth process, there was intense pain and stress involved. While my husband had his hands full with our little one, Lenaya was so supportive and offered a hand to SQUEEZE and a sympathetic presence. I also loved that she included postpartum support in her services, which honestly, I felt was even more valuable than the birthing process itself. I would highly recommend Lenaya to anyone unsure of whether or not a doula is necessary. I had a long labor and just knowing that I had another source of support meant the world to me and my husband.
