Amazing. Bob owns the place and is a great guy. You will find Le Petit on one end of the Hallway and The Daily Habbit at the other end. They are both part of the same set up and are amazing.

If you can find the entrance, perhaps the food would be worth the effort. After searching the building for several minutes, I gave up. I saw signs and a kitchen, but«down the hallway» didn’t work. I’ve never not been able to find the entrance to a dining establishment. I guess I should have brought Bilbo. What a weird location/configuration. I get it now. If you want breakfast you go to the Daily Habit which is a related entity«down the hallway». Sorry, I didn’t understand that. I’m assuming LPC is lunch only even though it lists an opening hour of 8:00 am. Strange.

Has the Asian chicken salad and it was pretty tasty. Comes in two sizes and I got the small one. The price is affordable which is rare in the financial district. The second time I went I had the egg salad sandwich. It was prepared fresh. I have to praise this place for that as usually you go to a deli with a prepared egg salad which can be questionable. Their egg salad has light mayo which is refreshing. I feel some places use too much mayo. But hey… some people like mayo. I can’t wait to go back to try the meatball Panini.

This is the worst group of people who will ever serve your food. don’t think for a second that they will ever get my business again. I heard that a girl found a staple in her salad and it broke her tooth off. My burrito had crusty disgusting beans and they took too long to make it. I was flabbergasted by the rudeness of the man at the front(this was over a year ago and I still remember it) and it turned me off for good. Perhaps when some people learn some manners they will get a better rating, but I doubt it, seeing as how the rudeness is so deeply ingrained. XOXOXOXOXOXOX :(:(:(:(:(DISLIKE

Pros; –sane price for FiDi –nice selection of sandwiches Convenience, if you work or park in the building Cons: –my sandwich took a long time despite the place being otherwise empty –They had to open the sandwich back up after wrapping because they forgot to add the tomato, which screwed up the paper and made the sandwich messy/fall apart. –I ordered cheddar on my sandwich and the cheese looked like jarlsberg(which I dislike), but the lady assured me it was cheddar. One bite of the sandwich confirmed the cheese was not sharp cheddar. –when I returned the sandwich, the woman admitted it was jarlsberg and said she made the sandwich that way because they were out of cheddar. This does not explain why she did not tell me this when I ordered, nor why she LIED the first time I asked about the cheese. –another employee pointed out that they actually had a large block of cheddar right there. The lady then whined«but it’s not sliced!» At which point my 30 minute lunch break ended sans sandwich. Maybe my experience was a fluke, but I will not be back. Sad, because I really wanted to like this place.

I work in the building. The food is great, the people really nice. I have not clue why the other review was posted. Everything is so fresh and high quality — you get what you pay for.

Food and service was really good. Tables are a little close to each other. You literally have to squeeze between them to sit down. It was tough for me and I’m a skinny person. Maybe they do that to keep the fat people away. Wait, now that I think about it everyone there was pretty skinny.

Petit in name only. Taste certainly isn’t. Been twice for lunch and left impressed each time. First visit featured an excellent tofu on sourdough. It can be good or bad when your sandwich is spilling all over the place as you try and eat. It’s either poorly made. Or in this case overflowing with goodness. +1 for the house hummus. Second visit featured an equally excellent house veggie burger on wheat. They were out the first time hence the return. Some things in life deserve a sequel. This is one of them. Wasn’t sure where the burger ended and the hummus began. Didn’t matter. Each bit was outstanding. Fifth star sealed when the gentleman running the place recognized me as I walked in and called out they had the veggie burger today. Was nice to see you again too.

The catering has been very reliable, and the prices right, with many healthier and fresh options. The staff is friendly. Lemon bars are great.

I LOVE this place! I get lunch from there at least twice a week, sometimes more, and sit out in any of the parks or courtyards immediately surrounding the building. It makes me forget that I’m at work! It certainly helps that Le Petit is on the ground floor of by builidng: One Maritime Plaza, but the food is actually pretty wholesome and healthy, though they have delicious ftresh baked cookies and less healthy treats, iof you are so inclined. If you’re looking for a hearty lunch that won’t leave you wanting a nap, please try these guys out — they’re the best, and soo nice too!

This review is on their salads, more specifically their Asian Chicken Salads. I work on the 10th floor of the same building they are located and our company buys lunch and conference food from them on a daily basis. My co-workers seem to love the place, but it really isn’t that good. Its just convenient and bearable. First thing… What is up with the inconsistency in the food??? Some days the container is full of fresh spring mix salad(it better be spring leaf if I am paying 8 bucks for a salad with only a couple of pieces of chicken), other days they use a cheaper lettuce and the leaves are wilted and dying… not to mention that the container is only half full. Sometimes they put a pound of shredded carrots and crunchy thingys in the container and others they put just the right amount. I really don’t get it. I understand only regulars come here and the salad chefs get rushed during lunch time, but its an expensive salad, please just make the extra effort to make it right and at least good tasting(most of the time).

This place is pretty great. The staff there is always nice and ready to help. The store the Daily Habit has pretty much everything you would want in a convenience type store. I have had a lot of Le Petite’s meals including Fajitas Bar and a Baked Potato Bar(my idea) and an BBQ of burgers and sausages and Hot Dogs and just all around great things. But my most favorite item they have is their breakfast burritos with a varied selection of fillings in a whole wheat wrap. I prefer the eggs, cheese and bacon or sausage with hash browns. Add some green salsa and I am in heaven. I’ll definitely be back here and hopefully soon, just thinking about the burritos has made me hungry.

It has been a while, but being a San Francisco native I know about LPC I have been enjoying Maria and Bob Drake’s creations since I lived on Russian Hill. It was a pleasure to find them conveniently located in 1 Maritime Plaza since I work in the Embarcadero. I usually get the Caesar or house salad, there is something about that dressing that in 10 plus years hasn’t changed is just addictive. I strongly recommend it. I also am hooked on there fresh baked pastries you can find these at their sister café The Daily Habit my absolute favorite is the raspberry ring, a delicate flakey pastry that has a just a bit of sweet glaze. Nothing sickly sweet but just enough to compliment the pasty and the raspberry jam, and there coffee is just awesome. I miss the original but I am just being nostalgic, these two sister shops are fabulous.

Le Petit Café and it’s sister shop The Daily Habit are a God send. They are convenient, use fresh ingredients, have baked goods cooked daily and Bob the owner is a delight! Try their Soy Chai Latte with a shot of espresso, it’s the bomb! Everything our company has catered by them is awesome!

Pretty good! So much variety when it comes to sandwiches here. But yes, a bit pricey for the size you get; nontheless, still good. Tip: Bring a jacket when coming here. that lobby is freezing cold.

Prices are pretty high here, which I am guessing is due to the high rent. Service is always friendly and fast. They serve standard fair. About 5 different kinds of salads, soups, basic and some fancy sandwiches, quiche, cookies, brownies, chips and sodas, etc. Anyway, their Cesar salads are pretty good, if a bit small. Lemon bars are good, too. The prosciutto panini is pretty good if a bit salty, but that’s OK, I like salt. I’ll go back. It’s conveniently located. It’s decent enough fare.
