I really like Dr Tom and have been with her for years. She is very qualified, patient and answers all my questions. And her office never tries to upsell me glasses etc. they are great with insurance too.

Dr. Tom is patient, thorough, knowledgeablr. Her staff really takes the time to help me select my various pairs of glasses. I wear contacts as well, Dr. Tom always fits me with the right lens so they are comfortable. most of all, I like talking to her, which is what you want in a doctor

Note that if you are not an «established» repeat customer, Saturday appointments are not an option. (Just in case you are new to them, it will save you the trouble of calling to ask about Saturday appointments, like I just did) I was flexible and asked about several weeks out, but they won’t entertain enquiries.
I spend a lot of money on eye care, fancy lenses and products etc., but I guess they have enough business to not need to extend services to new patients who have to work during the day, so good luck to them!

I have been a patient of Kimberly Tom for about ten years and she and the staff at eye Q Optometry are great. The examinations are the most thorough I have experienced, and I have been seeing eye doctors and wearing glasses/​contact lenses since I was very young.
I can’t recommend her highly enough.

I have been wearing glasses since I was 5 years-​old, and have been to many optometrists. Dr. Tom is peaceful, knowledgeable, and cares for her patients. She has given me advice that encourage better care for my needy eyes.
I agree with Elisabeth – I’ve been her patient for four years, and her demeanor and friendly ways are so appreciated.

My husband has been seen Dr. Tom for about 10 years, and me for about six. She’s efficient, thorough, and patient. She explains what she’s doing and doesn’t rush you through the exam; nor does she drag it out. She is, as another reviewer noted, warm and engaging.

Dr. Kimberly Tom’s practice is in the back of Eye Q Optometry. She is friendly and efficient.
The store has Saturday hours, but those are reserved for existing patients. First-​time patients will have to see her during the week. The weekday hours are also pretty good (open til 7pm), for those of us who don’t work in the city.
She accepts VSP.
