I am a makeup/​hair artist, and Kevin is definitely one of the most talented photographers I have ever worked with. I have been through my fair share of wannabe photographers and a lot of the times cannot even use their photos for my book. I was wondering how Kevin became so good at editing and retouching, and then I discovered he went to school for some sort of graphic design; the results are FLAWLESS looking photos.
Kevin has a clear vision of what he is looking for and plans his shoots to a tee – sometimes even spending thousands of dollars on wardrobe out of his own pocket. He is definitely detail oriented and has all the fancy toys to back it up. I’ve shot with Kevin before in pure darkness, and the photos still looked amazing.
Kevin closely follows the industry trends and is extremely knowledgeable on poses, or what comes out well on camera. By looking through his portfolio, it’s obvious Kevin loves fashion, but I have seen some of his other works, including: landscapes, portraits, engagements, and weddings, and all of them are truly reflective of his crisp, clean photography style.
Never expect a photo from Kevin that has not been retouched to perfection. Oh, and don’t worry, it will still look like you =).
