Omg I LOOOOOVE kayla. So I booked her to do my hair and makeup for prom and let me just say, it was the best experience ever! She is so down to earth and fun to talk to. She really takes care of you and she’ll do all she can to make everything perfect. She doesn’t work at the salon anymore but she is mobile though which makes it quite more convenient. She made my hair and makeup soo great that I kept on receiving compliments the whole night. I can’t wait to catch up with her again!

I read Kaylas reviews on Unilocal and just had to try her. She understood that I just wanted simple layers and to make my hair lighter. I love my hair cut and usually I end up hating my hair cuts. I give Kayla 5 stars! She is very talented and very easy to talk to. I will definitely come back to visit her when I need a trim or new hair style.

First of all, A girl’s dream is to have the perfect wedding! What’s most important is that she looks her BEST. For me, we had two weddings. A Chinese one and an American one. Kayla from D salon made both of my days sooo special!
She did both my hair and makeup. Everyone loved it! She isn’t just one of those stylist that only cares about money. She actually cares about you and how you feel! That’s what matters most. She made sure I was happy with my hair and makeup both days. She also followed me around to touch up my makeup and hair. I can honestly say that she is the BEST. Anything that I didn’t like she would change it happily and made sure I loved it. If you are about to get married soon, MAKE sure you go to Kayla.
After the wedding, I decided to get a hair cut with Kayla because she did such a great job for both of my wedding days. The hair cut came out to be PERFECT! The hair cut looked exactly like the picture I showed her. I have never had such a wonderful hairstylist/​Makeup artist!

Finally! Someone who cuts hair the way I wanted it cut! Kayla was so patient. She understood exactly what I wanted. I am recommending her to anyone who needs their haircut.

Kayla does wonderful work! She has been my stylist now for several years and I even followed her over to D Salon from Salon Mia Bella. She’s a good listener and really gets what it is I’m saying if I am trying to explain a new style or look that I’m going after. She is also very helpful and creative to help come up with ideas. Kayla is such a sweetheart and really makes you feel comfortable. I would follow her anywhere! She also does great men’s haircuts. My boyfriend has been going to her for several years and always looks good after she spruces him up a bit!
Her prices are affordable and note that she is cash only. Not sure about personal checks, but I know she does not take credit card at this time.

I swear, sometimes I book appointments with Kayla just to chit chat. She’s such a pleasant person, seriously. I’ve gone through so many stylists throughout my 20 or so years of my adult life and I’ve found Kayla to be the most genuine, professional, and skilled stylist in the San Francisco bay area.
Apparently, so do other people. San Francisco can be a small world sometimes and I’ve seen her at the last two weddings I have been invited to. We talked at the first wedding as if we were long time friends and had a few drinks together. At first, I thought we both knew the groom and bride but it turns out that she did the bride and bridesmaids’ hair and makeup at both weddings and the bride invited her to hang out at the reception!
She’s over at D Salon on Taraval and 15^th. Parking is easy and location is convenient.
