Jorge Cal

I have been going to Jorge for a number of years and wanted to share my experience of receiving very healing body work for myself as a working hair stylist and active cyclist. Both of these activities are hard on my entire 6’3″ body. So obviously I get a lot of lower and upper back soreness as well as legs and feet.
Having a massage is more than just relaxing. It is healing and educational without a lot of unnecesary talking. Jorge has what I like to call x-​ray vision with his touch. He is able to identify all sources of tension and mitigate pain with his multi-​faceted techniques. Jorge is also a Yogi as well as healer in the mind, body, spiritual sense. He uses this awareness to include healing my organs that hold onto toxins and pain. He always educates me about why I have pain in certain chakaras and organs which has been enlightening to me.
FYI Jorge works out of his home on Union street which is humble and non-​threatening. I think this is why he is able to offer long sessions at low prices because there is no overhead. I have sent many clients both female and male to Jorge and have had great feedback.
When I am feeling sore or low energy I go to Jorge and always feel much better.

I have been getting massages from Jorge for about 20 years. Besides giving a very good massage, he works diligently to solve any problem with the body. He has helped me right my body during periods of high stress and athletic injuries.

I’ve been seeing Jorge for almost 20 years now; he’s one of the best bodyworkers around. When I first started seeing him I was in my 30’s and had chronic back pain and spasms. Through his bodywork, and also through his excellent advice on some lifestyle/​exercise/​movement changes, my back became completely healthy. I see Jorge both when I’m hurting, as a preventive measure, and also because it just feels great and is incredibly relaxing. He’s a terrific guy, too.

Jorge Cal is the best body worker I have ever met. He has an intuitive knowledge of the body from years of practicing yoga. A massage with him is a healing experience, like being blessed. He is kind, humble and his spirit is of a high vibration. You will see.

Jorge has been part of our family of massuers for many years. His devotion to spirit & body is evident in every move he makes. Being «Jorged» is a lot like a cleansing. Often he’s not done till your completely in balance. His touch can be deep and intense or quite gentle and freeing. I highly recommend everyone get JORGED from time to time.
