In order to earn my business, JODI provided me «worry free» package which they will also manage the investment property for me for free, It seems a good marketing strategy. Therefore, I picked them.
After the place got rent out for few months, I have deal with tenant late payment issue for 3 times, I checked with JODI property manager why, he claiming the tenant just don’t want to wire the money, instead use Google pay without inform me. Also, I have to directly work with tenant about the «breaking lease early penalty» and work with HOA on the new tenant move in. JODI claims because it’s free service, I need work on these issues myself and it is not what they promised at first place.
The property manager who is lack of experience and knowledge on the rental market, I have to step in to the add. posting. He has a strong personal attitude when work with client. Such a nightmare experience with these agents.

I had the pleasure of renting from Brandon Chen at JODI Group over the past year and I have to say he is by far the best property manager I have worked with. He is responsive, friendly, and consistent. He always treated us with respect and made us feel like he truly appreciated our business. That is hard to come by in SF when demand far outpaces resources.
