This shop is fun. It’s sort of glittery and awful at first glance, but worth looking into. The staff is always friendly. It can be a bit pricey, but I’ve always been happy with what I’ve bought. Nice selection of costume jewelry and hair clips.
Plus, they carry Frownies.
However, this one in 3 EC does not have any Tokyo Milk products, which I have found at the JJ in Pacific Heights.

I really like the jewelry and the other cutesy stuff they sell but the staff is just not friendly. Whenever I attempt to shop here, they stare at me like i’m going to steal something. It’s very uncomfortable and it turns me off. I see them smile and talk to the white tourists but they barely say more than a few words to me. I’ll come in and browse but I wouldn’t dare give them any of my money.

This store has lots of shiny jewelryv with rhinestones. They have a good selection of jewelry from Betsey Johnson and Harajuku Girls. They also have scarves, hats, scarves, and other accessories.

A favorite stop for gifts as well as baubles for myself. The staff is super friendly and helpful; I love to come here just for that! The best thing about Jest Jewels is the selection — everything from fun costume pieces to fine jewelry. Hats, pashminas, bags, small accessories and home décor round out the choices. In my 10+ years (!) of going to this Jest Jewels, I have never had a reason to return a purchase or make a complaint. Keep up the excellent work!

I thought this place was pretty cool. I stopped in during my first visit to SF to get a thank you gift for my roommate. She’d let me borrow her new, super cute Betsey Johnson luggage, and Jest Jewels had this super cute Betsey J. charm bracelet with my roomie’s initial, «K» for a good price. Once I got back to Atlanta and gave my roomie the bracelet, it broke the next day. But not to worry. I called up Jest Jewels and told them what happened. I mailed the bracelet back and they sent an identical one, free of charge. That’s what I call good customer service! :)

Jest Jewelers isn’t really my kind of place. It is worth noting that they have pashminas (It’s a big thin frilly scarf. I didn’t know that either until recently) in a whole mess of colors at a decent price considering the quality if your girlfriend asked for one. The staff is friendly and willing to give you advice about color selection, and is right there with the epi-​pen should all the pink fabric and rhinestones and cheetah prints cause an anaphylactic reaction. Apparently it happens from time to time.

Always a staple for their selection of pashmina’s. Also, I like some of their jewerly selection for additions to a complicated outfit.
Staff always screws up my order so double-​check your reciepts. (I don’t think it’s intentional though, I think they just go through a lot of volume.)
A bunch of other great shops are right across the street so definitely check this place out once you score that hot ensemble!
