Jessica Lynn’s Loving Doula Services

I hired Jessica to help me out with my 2 month old son last week. I’m a first time mom and my husband had a few late nights at work – I was looking for some additional support. I’ll start by saying that she is very responsive to inquiries and emails which is extremely important in my book. She also showed up on time each day and took over the second she walked through the door. She really knows babies!
Jessica is a pleasure to have around the house. She is easygoing and was sweet and nurturing to my son. I appreciated the advice she gave on his eating and sleep habits and she was also aware and concerned with my needs. I picked up some really great tips while she was with us! Any family would be lucky to have her.

Jessica was my post partum doula for my second baby and I feel so lucky to have had her. She is exactly the kind of person you want in your house during this special, but challenging time. She’s like a trusted friend, calmly and happily coming in to help you where needed (light cooking, kitchen clean up, laundry, baby holding and soothing, entertaining my 3.5 year old, etc). She has that unique ability to anticipate needs and fill them before they are even noticed (like getting you water while you’re nursing or encouraging you to lay down in a quiet moment). She is incredibly good with kids and people in general. Her attention helped my first child get through the transition of having a newborn in the house. Jessica was also so good with the baby and was able to give me breaks when I needed them. She had incredibly thoughtful and helpful insights to questions I had. I felt very supported by Jessica and think she is an incredibly intuitive and competent doula. I highly recommend her for anyone considering a post partum doula.
