I went here about a week ago since I’m trying out all the laundromats in my new ‘hood. The previous reviewers’ experiences seem pretty grim, but I didn’t have any of those problems. Equipment — Pretty new looking washers and the dryers worked really well for me. Since it wasn’t crowded, I spread out my clothes over 3 machines and had everything dry in 15 minutes. Cleanliness — It was perfectly fine the day I went. Location — Yeah it’s dead on this street, but it doesn’t feel dangerous and there are security cameras. There were tons of people walking by and it’s just down the street from The Phone Booth if you wanted to grab a quick drink during the wash. Staff — It looked like this sweet older couple owned the place because a woman came downstairs dressed in her PJs. The guy there was awesome and even let me stay past close to finish up there while he did his tai chi. Price — Average. If you are super picky and expecting a luxurious experience, this place isn’t for you. I’ll be back though. The other laundromats nearby are too crowded and I don’t want to deal with that.

This place sucks! It’s small, dirty, overpriced and broken down. There’s an attendant who isn’t fixing or cleaning anything, but instead gossiping with the patrons. He seems unaware of the concept of personal space.(I.e. close taker) There is only space for two carts and they’re tethered to a metal close line. Unfortunately if someone’s using one on the side you’re on, you’ll have to wait until they’re done. Since the wires done reach both sides. 10 dryers, but 4 of them are broken. Yes, 40% of their dryers are down. 18 washers 2 heavy load washers $ 2 to wash $ 0.25 per 6 minutes of drying $ 1 soap and dryer sheets $ 0.75 plastic bags I’ve attached some photos. I won’t be back.

I don’t understand business owners who do not want to invest in properly working equipment. In the long run, it will make them money, right? If you are lucky, you will go on a day where more than half the dryers work. But usually only 3 or 4 are working. You’re screwed if you do laundry there on the weekends, you will never get to use a dryer by the other people monopolizing them. Never put more than a quarter in a dryer to start off with, you need to make sure it is heating up before you add more money. Only once was I able to get reimbursed when a dryer didn’t work. That was because the owner or employee was right there when I put in the money and the machine did not turn on. Go around the corner to do your laundry. They have a better percentage of working equipment.

I am not typing about my experience but about my past and what a family member of mine has experienced. This laundry mat is not safe when you are alone. I recommend that you go with someone and must stay with you at all times. Don’t ever leave your clothes unattended because a bum will steal. No matter how old your clothing or blankets are or torn. They steal. My family member put $ 1.75 for drying but the machine was not working like supposed to that she told the lady about it and did not believe she put $ 1.75 and gave her .75. Rip off and goes somewhere else safe and better customer service.

$ 2.00 to wash and 25 cents for 6 minutes for drying(wash price has been raised twice in the last 6 months). After several unpleasant events I’ve decided to go across the street to a different laundry. I’ve lost money in the machines several times and when I did finally call the number the woman was only concerned if there was an emergency in the laundry. Once she found out why I was calling she was rather insistent that there was a manager in the room who would deal with my issue… when I said there wasn’t a manager on the premises, she said«Are you sure?»…it’s a tiny laundry! She finally just hung up on me. Out of order Equipment is generally not marked well and there’s often a wait(especially during busy times) for a dryer. 4÷23÷09 Update I decided to give this place another chance. There were two additional times where this laundry malfunctioned and took my money. Both times I spoke with Jenny and it was quite an ordeal to return my 75 cents. I think I’m finally done with this place. Also lowering from two to one stars.
