I’ve had a run of sessions for a few years with Janelle, and it wasn’t until afterwards that I realized how spoiled I was to have had her as my trainer. Aside from properly molding my weight-lifting posture and form, she also manages to maintain a sense of pep on days when that would seem difficult. Her dietary tips & knowledge of muscles helped greatly in between-workout-healing and eliminating injuries, this way instead of going to the chiropractor I can be going to the gym! Damn it.

Janelle has been my trainer for almost 3 years. My husband saw how much fun I was having and the results I was getting about six months into my first session with Janelle, and decided to join us. We work out with her twice a week now, and I can honestly say its one of the best things we do for ourselves. Janelle is able to handle our different workouts simultaneously, all while being friendly and helpful, but not in an overly-annoying kind of way. She is not one of those trainers that shows up in a bikini and intimidates you to get into shape. She tells you what’s realistic, and what to expect by when. She is also completely non-judgmental when you tell her that instead of running that 10k you ate brownies at home. At the same time, she makes us both sweat and I am ALWAYS sore the next day. That means for 3 years she has pushed me to my limit and has me coming back for more! Janelle has become a dear friend to us. Our lives are undeniably better, healthier, and happier because we see her at the crack of dawn twice a week.

I’ve worked out with trainers, had gym partners and have even read all of the health magazines for tips and the latest exercises, but working out with Janelle has opened my eyes to a healthier, yet balanced lifestyle. My wife has worked with her for nearly three years, and I have worked with her for almost two. We both worked with her in order to get in shape for wedding in November last year and have been very pleased with our results throughout. We both remark at how our bodies have changed and how we make better decisions about what we eat. At your first session, she will take measurements and evaluate your lifestyle and ask you about your goals – as a trainer should. She uses this information to set a training schedule and tailors your workouts accordingly. She takes a well-rounded and varied approach to help you reach your fitness goals. It’s never the same workout every time, and she tries to introduce you to new experiences that you may not have considered before when thinking about exercise, such as rock climbing, hiking, yoga, stretching or even help with marathon training. She is willing to work with your schedule and can turn nearly any environment into a gym in minutes. On the diet front, she can help you by suggesting better eating habits or choices in a particular environment. Let’s face it, all the work in the gym can be undone by what you eat and drink later in the day. This being said, she’s also realistic about food. She understands that a beer or piece of chocolate cake here and there is okay and sometimes necessary. Janelle’s knowledge and varied approach to fitness and nutrition help you reach your potential and make the move to a healthier, more balanced you.
