Yumilicious!!! Nice easy spot to stop for coffee and breakfast sandwhich. First off there is plenty of parking right on the street. I usually come in early before the morning rush. I have had the egg, cheese and tomato english muffin, BLT with avocado and amazing coffee. Everything always tastes and smells fresh. All perfect for the morning and great prices. The coffee is strong and bold. Not bitter or sour though. The music is upbeat to get you going. The décor is lots of wood tones. Easy on the eyes. Don’t forget the free WiFi.

I stopped in for a coffee! First off, service is great! I love their hazelnut latte. Perfect amount of sweetness and nice and hot. Just how I like it!

It’s Javalicious! 4 ½ star! I’m come here a lot, it’s my morning routine on my way to the office. I get a small«Javalencia» coffee for $ 2.25. Coffee is rich and bold, not mirky or muddy. It’s quiet in the mornings, seldom do I see more than 5 – 6 people at once, around 8am. I like the music selection they play. I find myself bobbing my head and singing to the tunes as I sip my coffee waiting for time to pass. The lady at the counter, Yasmine, is very nice, she always remembers me and what I like to order. Today I asked if she could warm up my coffee, I had drank most of it and only a small amount was left, she said, ‘no problem’, she took steam to it then added more coffee on top, with no charge, which was very nice, I wasn’t expecting that! Also, for the first time, today, I ordered food; toasted sesame bagel with cream cheese, tomato and cucumber, it hit the spot, perfectly toasted, she added a little salt and pepper which I liked. It was simple and light. All for $ 6, including the coffee. This is definitely a convenient breakfast or lunch spot for commuters(like me) and tourists staying at the local hotels in the area. Street parking is available. Yasmine is the best and I like the personal greetings I get from her, she definitely gives a warm touch. I like coming here in the mornings as it’s a nice little treat I give myself before I begin my work day! It’s Javalicious!(I should trade mark that!) Thank you, Javalencia for making my mornings warm and bright, see you tomorrow!

I enjoy stopping by this place. Their lattes and their café au lait are delicious, especially when accompanied by a Mexican Mocha chocolate chip cookie. Their turkey sandwich hits the spot and reminds me of the ones my mom used to make for me growing up. It’s a nice escape from your Starbucks and Peet’s, worth a try! Feel free to chit chat with the workers, they are friendly and optimistic too.

They have good services and tasty foods. I love to be there to have a breakfast or lunch because their prices are all reasonable. Only cost me $ 7 dollars for a sandwich and cheaper for breakfast just $ 5 dollars for a breakfast bagel. And their all material are so fresh because you can taste it. I would like to come there to have my breakfast or lunch every day.

I really like this spacious café located on Market street near Hayes Valley. They have a really«woodsy» theme, possibly made with reclaimed wood. Its a great location to do some work since its pretty quiet every time I stopped by. They also have free WiFi access. I even had a work related meeting here with 8 or 9 of us and it accommodated all of us in the large table in the back. The service can be a bit slow, so make sure you’re not in a hurry if you’re ordering a fancier beverage that requires a bit of time to make. They usually only have 1 barista handling the orders and making the drinks. I’ve only had their teas here which are loose leaf. It also took some time because the barista had to scoop it out and put it in a tea bag for steeping. They have 2 other locations in the Mission district and Bayview.

Lunch sandwiches are good, breakfast sandwiches a light on the meat. Probably would have given a 5 star rating but twice now they have put mayo and mustard on a sandwich and it was not requested. Have you ever looked at the ingredients in that crap? Would have made this my new sandwich shop but they can’t follow instructions…

The most delightful service I’ve ever encountered. My first visit to California and I believe this has become my go to café. Their iced coffee and breakfast croissant are the perfect start to my days. They should def get a location in New York!!! Can’t wait for my next visit

First time in San Fransisco and I’m glad I tried this place! I craved a hot latte with soy milk every morning after trying this place. Don’t get me started with the food! It is always fresh and absolutely melts in your mouth! This would absolutely be my go to spot if only I lived here(sighs).

I was waiting around for Pause Wine Bar to open and decided to grab a bite to eat beforehand. Javalencia did not have a screaming WELCOME sign but it looked inviting enough to try, granted I’m generally sketched out by most random places by Civic Center. The people who work here do not speak perfect English, but the menu is pretty easy to figure out. I’ve seen people come here to interview others, grab a beer with buddies, or just spend time reading like I did. I decided on the Tuna Sandwich and WOW! What a pleasant surprise. The bread was lightly toasted, and it was generously packed with all the vegetables you can imagine. Tasty, fresh, and very filling. There are also two orange wedges on the plate to wash down your meal in case you didn’t order a smoothie or coffee. There is free WiFi but not too many outlets to plug in your devices, so choose your seat carefully. There is a booth for a bigger party in the back, limited bar seating, and lots more seating along the side of the café. This is a peaceful place to hang out with good food. I would definitely come here again.

This place is like a home to me, I work across the street and can’t even imagine myself a day without their coffee! And it’s not only coffee, it’s also the attitude they have! I will give 5 stars all day long and recommend everyone to stop by and grab something!

The best BLT with avocado I have ever had!!! So yummy, and the lemonades are super yummy and refreshing also! I’ve had a few other things, pastries and lox bagel and everything has always been delicious. Great customer service and great location.

I can’t understand why people would complain about the prices. They’re pretty comparable to similar places. I can only comment on the cappuccinos I had. Both were perfect; the coffee is excellent. The people next to me had one of the bagel sandwiches and raved about it. Moreover, the ambiance is delightfully soothing, it’s bright and airy, and the workers are friendly and efficient. What more could one ask for?

Lackluster coffee, burnt milk in my latte. Great, cute environment, but it seems like they’re really catering to those just looking for the coffee chain alternative rather than a quality café. Service was not attentive, and the barista seemed a tad overwhelmed by a group of 3(just one worker for the whole café!) at 11:45am on a Thursday. The cold and hot food items were priced relatively high — too high for a location a short walk from other well known cafés and restaurants. No real incentive for me to come back.

Love the ambiance in this place. They have wifi as well so it is a nice place to come have a cup of tea(they have a variety) and do some work. I ordered the bagel with lox and added avocado, it was so delicious! They also have a variety of pastries, sandwiches, coffee, and teas to choose from. Near Van Ness station so it is my new go-to place!

Another nice little coffee shop around Van Ness and Market. The décor inside is quite nice – there’s a big«wood» theme going on, and everything seems to be carved out of wood. The wifi was operational and fast, which was nice. The store is clearly owned by a family, and they were also very nice to customers – they were too shy to ask me to leave even though I was still inside after closing time. In terms of food quality, the Javalencia blend was ok – it was a little bitter for my taste, but over it’s pretty good. A good place to stop by for some coffee!

Stopped in this afternoon for tea and lunch with a friend. I ordered a black tea with almond milk, and the breakfast sandwich, and my friend ordered the turkey sandwich with avocado. My tea was brought to is right away with the almond milk on the side for me to pour to my taste preference, something I appreciate. When our sandwiches came, I was a little disappointed in myself for not ordering a turkey sandwich! My breakfast sandwich was good but there was nothing that stood out or would make me need to order it again. The pricing was overall reasonable, the tea and my sandwich cost me $ 7.00 together and the lunch sandwiches are all around $ 7.00 flat. If I am in the area again looking for a quick bite or caffeine fix I will probably give it another try.

7 dollars flat for a sandwich. Dunno anything about this microwave business I’m hearing but I enjoyed my turkey — toasted sourdough with tomatoes, alfalfa, cucumbers a few jalapeños, and, of course, slices of turkey. Don’t know how it could have been any better, so 4 stars. Place is nice and I had a good first impression. I’ll try their BLT again when they’re not out of bacon.

I work in the area, and was happy to see a new place open up. I think it’ll take a while for neighbors to discover this newcomer to the scene. Consider the amateur coffee and espresso that adjacent Pastry Cupboard offers, it’s nice to have a serious coffee place in the area.

Microwaved breakfast sandwiches and over priced coffees? I know they are trying to bring the Mission vibe out of the Mission, but get real, people will just go to Starbucks if they want to pay more for mediocre coffee. The place looks inviting, the décor is nice and it is very clean inside but I have a couple of qualms: 1. They are never open 2. The menu has no variety 3. Sandwiches are pre-made and«cooked to order» in a microwave 4. They opened right next to the Pastry Cupboard, which is by no means a better option, but has the same coffee for a lit less If they expect to stay open I suggest that they focus on the coffee, be open daily, and try to connect more with the neighborhood. I was sorely disappointed.
