This is the store that hoses down homeless people; If you look up on Masonic a hose has been attached that drops down water onto the sidewalk to prevent people from sitting down. For a shop that celebrates psychedelicness it is rather uncool to prevent the travelling community to sit down and rest. If this shop was truly part of the community they would communicate their frustrations with the people instead of using this ridiculous and cowardly technique. Super anti-hippie establishment.

Don’t let the colors fool you! Hey when it comes to real tie dye, like the really super cool high fashion tie dye… Jammin on Haight is serious business. You just have to work your way through the psychedelic world of colors and find the unique piece for you. They do carry the much coveted work of the artist Hugo so I always start their first. But his pieces ain’t cheap although are well worth it.

Now this is an interesting place. Some might find all the tiedye to be an eyesore, but you gotta admit it’s kinda cool that there’s a place dedicated to tiedye in the Haight(though the Haight is one of the few places that such a store could thrive haha). The customer service is really good, everyone makes an effort to talk to you and make sure that you know what you’re getting yourself into. There’s also a little tub of glitter at the register that you can sprinkle onto yourself or other people which is GREAT. I came in here after seeing pictures on Unilocal, even though I have absolutely no interest in tiedye clothing of any sort. But it’s still a cool experience!

Un magasin que nous adorons, magnifique, très coloré avec un large choix de produits(même si nous n’avons pas réussi à trouver un leggin en 3T pour notre fille). Le problème étant le prix des produits qui est vraiment très élévé …

Don’t let the overpowering smell of patchouli deter you from entering this hippie heaven. All my favorite jumpsuits come from Jammin’ on Haight. They do the impossible by making tie-dye stylish and sexy. On average the clothes are priced just a bit higher than one might expect to pay(yeah yeah yeah hand dyed etc…) a full length jumpsuit will run you between $ 80-$ 120.

I’m pretty sure I died and went to Tie Die heaven! The first store on our Haight and Ashbury journey certainly did not disappoint! This store is actually quite beautiful, and according to an employee, features the largest framed artwork in the city right on their ceiling! Just walk in and look up to be blown away some more by this over the top store! It sets the tone for the rest of the street and all if it’s…unusual inhabitants!

If you want the whole historic Haight & Ashbury experience, your visit to the area won’t be complete without a stop at this eclectic and unique tie dye shop! Stop here first so you can accessorize properly before making your way down the street. This is no generic tie dye that you see everywhere else, each piece is like a work of art! Your head will spin a psychedelic wonder as your eyes adjust to the colors and designs. Everything tie dye you can think of from socks to gloves and belts; along with great prices so it makes for some groovy gifts ideas to bring home from your visit that you won’t find anywhere else. Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable about how the dyes were done. Keep Jammin’!

Best Tie Dye I’ve ever seen. My daughter picked out the most unique dress with a hood. All tie-dyed in her favorite colors. Seemed pricey until I researched one of a kind tie dye and realized the process it takes to tie-dye such perfectly onto fashionable garments. The tie-dyes in this store are hand made locally. My daughter even had the chance to meet the artist’s. This place is awesome! The Grateful Dead was playing the entire time we were there!

As I walked by, I heard the sounds of a live brass band coming from inside this wildly painted store. I figured it was just what they did on full moon Friday the 13th, so I wandered it. After acclimating to the bright colors(tie dyed ceiling!) I realized It was a birthday party, complete with cake. And it was no ordinary brass band, it was dirty dozen. Love those guys. So up close and personal I could have stuck my hand in the tuba. And then I bought a tie dye. It’s better than most tie dyes, and definitely better than all the ones my friends have. Win.

I discovered this store on a recent trip to San Francisco. When I saw it from the street I couldn’t help but go inside. The exterior paint job is a great indication of the cool stuff inside. The store sells beautiful and locally tie dyed clothes. They have everything from onesies to dresses to underwear to coats. They also have jewelry, tapestries, and art. It was my favorite spot in the Haight.

If your idea of hippie fashion includes the word«psychedelic» this is the store for you! They’ve got tie-dye, burner couture, and serious eye candy. The walls are decorated with Jerry Garcia prints, lenticular art and others. Not to mention, they’re the only place on The Haight where you can buy blotter art.

Beauiful Boutique! Really reminds me of why we love Haight Street. Friendly awesome staff, great place for festival clothes, gifts, unique clothing and the best tie-dye you can find.
