Both my kids saw Dr. Schwanke from birth until they were too old for a pediatric practice. Dr. Schwanke is very knowledgeable, very patient, an excellent diagnostician, and always took the time to explore our possibilities.

Dr. Schwanke has been our pediatrician for almost 18 years. My two children have seen him since they were born and have always received excellent care from him. My (now) teen is very comfortable with him and finds him helpful to talk to. The office is well staffed and the nurses (Judy and Charity) always call back to answer questions directed toward them. Dr. Schwanke is compassionate and caring and knows us/​his patients well. I wish all Drs. were as caring and exceptional as Dr. Schwanke.

I have been very happy with the service at Noe Valley Pediatrics. I even travel from the coast, so that my son can continue seeing his Doc Schwanke. He takes extra time to explain things, he uses alternative health care and doesn’t just push western medicine.
Doc Schwanke has been my son’s doc for almost 17 teen years now. In fact, he was both my son’s siblings doc., they are now 25 & 27.

Dr. Scwanke was the original doctor of Noe Valley Pediatrics and was there when I was born 21 years ago. He is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and doesn’t just blow off patients but really looks for underlying causes. I liked him so much as A doctor I kept going to visit until about a year ago when I finally realized I was really getting too old for a pediatrician. That being said, I have yet to find another doctor who knows me as well and can treat me as well as Schwanke.
