It’s A Grind Coffee House

I actually really liked getting coffee here before school in the mornings. But unfortunately they’re permanently closed now:(

Came here on my way to work, since it’s right in front of a bus stop. I’m conflicted because My croissant was pretty good (it was probably because I came in the morning) however my iced coffee was super watery.
I’ve been here before to do some work, and there’s a great window for sunny days when I just want to sit in the sun but still be more productive than i would be at home.

A local coffee spot for me that has reasonably priced coffee and comfortable space to loiter for awhile. Employees are friendly and the almond croissant I usually get is tasty.

They sell pre-​made breakfast burritos but are frequently out of them on weekends. 4 out of 5 times they won’t have them.

Not the best service & Coffee was very average… I had never been and i asked for a coffee assuming they would make it for me I stood around for 5 minutes and nobody was doing anything. Finally I asked where my coffee is and someone else said oh she should have given you a cup. I went back to the casher and she said oh sorry i forgot… Confused how you could forget to give me a cup. You also have to fill your own cup which I find kind weird.
Anyway wasn’t crowded and I can see why.

HORRIBLE customer service… HORRIBLE coffee… Just a horrible place to be. Will not recommend to anyone. Asian overweight guy was terrible. Should not have a job.

I am in this part of San Francisco twice every week and I used to come here every day I was here because I loved it. I have not been back in a while and today I went in to grab something simple. I got up a couple of times to see if it was there and they perhaps didn’t call it but the women made no eye contact with me checking in my drink and when I asked about it, one said: «it should be over there.» I didn’t appreciate that she just wrote me off when clearly they hadn’t made my drink when they were making much more ‘extravagant’ drinks for other people who had ordered after me. The one thing I did realize the time I was there sitting and finishing my order was that the two girls (I can’t speak for the whole staff) were very stand-​off-​ish with people who weren’t ‘regulars’. Just didn’t appreciate the attitude while I was there towards myself and one other customer.

Decent interior. Good music. Free wifi. But I ordered a 16oz ice blended mocha that was watery. For $ 5 they should all a bucket of ice to that puppy. Not happy about that. Free ice water and a clean bathroom was a plus.

Great large coffee shop with everything you need:

Love this place! Been going here for years. Although it’s not on the menu, try the Pistachio Nut Latte either blended or iced (they’ll know what you’re talking about). It smells great, and tastes amazing. The baristas are so sweet, and there are three in particular that I really like; they always make my coffee the way I want it. AND, there are three shots of espresso in a regular sized cold drink!?! This place is my dream. There are comfy chairs to sit in, and free wifi.

If you’re in a grind, oh wait, I mean bind without your daily caffeine fix, It’s A Grind will take care of that.
Why visit?

–people come to work, chat, or enjoy the weekend
If you want one of those local one of a kind shops, you can easily find one down the block (along with your hipsters and no we don’t stoop to decaf baristas). If you want easy peasy coffee, lots of seating, or some sugar induced coma drink, It’s a Grind will grind those beans!

I’ve been to other coffee shops with higher Unilocal ratings than this one before, but their coffee didn’t taste nearly as good as the coffee that I had today with, «it’s a grind coffee house» :)
just saying that sometimes you can’t always base your opinion on where to go just because of reviews. .. this place was awesome! the staff was really friendly too.

I go to its a grind at least once a week and order a rocket latte. It’s a fantastic deal – only $ 2. Their other drinks are great as well. The staff is really friendly, and it’s a good place to go if you need to study or do some work. Highly recommend!

I used to come here all the times, but the tastes get worse and worse :/​won’t come back for a while

Now that I work around here, this is my favorite coffee shop on the block. The people who work here are usually nice, there are few misses on some days.
I really like the atmosphere of this coffee shop. They have clean workspace, plenty of seatings for everyone, reasonably priced coffee and free wifi. How awesome is that.
Not to mention pretty tasty coffee! My usual is becoming the hazelnut latte, it has the just right amount of sweetness with a hint of hazelnut.
Only thing is that their breakfast sandwiches look not so appetizing, but I will still come for my daily coffee fix or when I try to escape from work.
I would love to see more friendly and personable cashiers. That would make my day

Terrible coffee. Awful. Pre made in carafes, a bit cold, weak, flat. As bad as most gas station coffee… but worse because this is a f**king COFFEE shop!!! The least you could do is serve up a drinkable cup of coffee.
How they stay in business is beyond me.

To early for work? Chill here-it’s comfy, spacious, and there fast and free Wi-​Fi.
Watermelon iced tea lemonade — tastes like a watermelon jolly rancher infused lemonade, no tea in this drink, it’s pretty pink (see my picture). I know it’s totally artificial but it’s pretty dang refreshing

5. Open til 8pm on Sundays for a college gal to get reading done.
6. It’s a must for coffee connoisseurs!
