Place is cheap and easy for dudes Idk about ladies yet. $ 10 and then you tip them. I can’t believe someone criticizes that the lady that works here Dont know how to speak English. What does it matter? You don’t need to know how to speak English to cut hair… it’s a cheap place what do you expect workers to be like ?? This place has Hong Kong as a title for a reason.
I don’t think workers here should be discriminated. She doesnt know Chinese either but Srsly who cares. You get a picture of the hair style you want and hand it to her. I’m sure she knows what she needs to such as hair treatment cut and short clean etc…
You can’t discriminate someones handicap as long as they can do their job. So overall for the cost and what you get I’d say this place is at least a four star. I saw a caucasian guy they cut hair for walk in out lookin freaking hot like a million dollars… Nice.

Bad service. Idk why they would let an asian lady work there if she can’t even speak English. I called for an appointment for me & my mom at 10:30 & waited for abt 30 mins and only worked on my hair and not my mom so we were pissed cos we wanted to do our hair at the same time. They need more people that speaks English as well.

I live 3 blocks away. I’ve been coming here for the past 4 years and no complaints except one time I had to wait 45 minutes for a 5 minute hair cut. It’s OK because I fell asleep waiting so it really only seemed like a 10 minute wait.

Hugo buzzed my hair for $ 5! Parking’s sometimes difficult to find, but for $ 5, I’d do it again.

Been here a few times for haircuts. This time I had a new stylist. I believe her name is Linda. She’s very attentive and took her time to cut my hair. I would make a appointment with her next time! The only thing is that the lines are long… wait can be from 30−1hr.

Staff are awesome and highly skilled. Price is soooo cheap. You can get a hair treatment for $ 25, while the rest charges you $ 100.

Wow… got a men’s haircut here for only $ 10. They must have lowered prices. Right after I got in at 5pm, the line started getting busy. Seems I hit a lull in the business day (Tuesday). A lot of parents were bringing in their kids for a trim. I recommend calling ahead to avoid the crowds. I think they used to offer a shampoo after the haircut, but since there was a line, it wasn’t offered. Or maybe that the price was discounted. not sure.

Julia and her staff are the best in town! I come here all the time. There’s never a long wait, and I’m always extremely pleased with the cuts afterward. When I used to live in the Sunset district, I would go to the Noriega location, but now that Julia is here more, my boyfriend and I have been going to this location.
Last month, I figured since parking was never an issue there, I left my house a bit late, and I got there late. :/​but her stylist was so friendly and cool about it, they still gave me my cut.
Excellent service and experienced staff! what else can you ask? GO.

I saw this place open up near my house a year or two ago, but was hesitant to try it out and instead kept on driving all the way out to richmond to get my haircuts. I got my hair cut by tony (?) and it was quick, cheap, and pretty decent. I came here on a saturday afternoon and it wasn’t too crowded.
Anyways if you live nearby, I encourage you to come here and try them out.

Lili is my hair stylist, sometimes she can be so busy and rush things but most of the time she has the patience to cut your hair nicely. I wish PETER was still working! Getting a haircut without travelling down to Sunset is awesome! Price is cheaper too!

For the past five out the six times I’ve been here, I had to wait at least 20 minutes to get my hair cut. I’ve made my appointments and showed up on time each time, but I still have to wait. What is the point of having appointments and when walk-​in customers are given the same priority?
Don’t go here if your time is valuable to you.

I’m very picky for who cuts my hair. But not having had a cut in the bay area in the past few yrs. I was eager to find a local place as I had just recently moved back from socal. For $ 10 (men’s cut)… compared to salons in Westlake and Supercuts. this is a bargain for a great cut. He knew what he was doing. I’m not sure who the previous Unilocaler had as a her barber, but they do now have a set price placed on their windows. I believe its $ 17 for women standard hair cut and $ 10 for men. It’s a nice clean and big place.

don’t go to this place, it’s a scam!!! if there were such an option as –5 stars, i would give it to this place.
THEY DO NOT CHARGE FAIRLY. to be sure, they don’t have any prices posted in the store, they charge as they feel. they’ll ask you if you know anyone that comes here or if you’ve been here before… b/​c depending on your level of familiarity with them, they charge you accordingly.
i called to make an appointment and to ask about the price of a hair cut; the lady on the phone say’s «$ 10».
i called a second time to change my appointment time and to again confirm the price; this time, another lady on the phone asks «how long is your hair?» i replied «shoulder length». she answered, «shoulder length, $ 12». so despite the price difference, i still go.
when i get there, i had to wait an hour and a half until i got my hair cut.
after my hair was cut, the lady said «$ 15». i said i asked before i got here and it was clearly $ 12, why is it $ 15 now? the lady stuttered and said, «oh, for your kind of cut, it’s 15».
$ 15 is the last they’ll ever scam me. it’s not about the amount that they charge, it’s about integrity and the honesty of their business and i don’t play with people that don’t play by the rules.
As for the haircut, I had a picture and I showed them the bob that I wanted but I was not satisfied with the cut. I’ve had the same cut done in different places before and this one did not particularly bring out the cut that I wanted.
