So dope… Not only is the selection and style top notch but it also just has an amazing ambiance. The owner Gene also clearly know his stuff and is not pushy in any way… I will definitely be going back.

I love old clothes. Shit, I can’t remember when the last time I bought anything new(except for socks and underwear). Being a resident in the hood for quite some time, I was kinda bummed that I can no longer purchase child-hazardous toys and half-assed batteries from the 99 cent store. But excited there was a vintage clothing store(with a mission — more to follow) coming to the hood. Why the 3 stars you ask? I’ll get to that. Ah, the denim jean. A man’s staple, when we’re wearing pants. I’m never opposed to paying big bucks(wearing a $ 400 pair of Japanese selvedge courtesy of Self Edge as I write) for denim. So upon glances at the denim selection(all Levis, FYI), the price tag were all $ 130+. Seems a bit high for not being selvedge, raw, or the cool redline pairs. So, 1 star off for outrageous prices for all their stuff(think $ 200+ for used varsity coats and $ 50 t’s). A bit pricey, even by SF standards — yes I shop at all the cool vintage shops so I can compare. Love the story of the owner, sounds like he does great community based work, and wants to eventually connect the store to his non-profit. As a former inner city school teacher, I can respect that. I will definitely add the 4th star once that happens — let us know! To sum it all up, great décor/layout, awesome doggie greeter, cool pieces. I say modify the game plan a bit and I’ll definitely follow up with another review.

I’m a skinny dude who has a really tough time finding good clothes in smaller sizes at reasonable prices. Usually vintage stores are a huge miss for me because everything is baggy and/or $ 300+. We found a bunch of great shirts(and boots!) here and I ended up walking away with an awesome shirt that fits perfectly. The whole store is curated very nicely and has a great vibe.

This place is a gem amongst the vintage and small boutiques in San Francisco. They curate fine vintage and some contemporary fashions in a store that feels like an elegant, cozy den in a hunting lodge. They have men and women’s clothing and accessories. The prices are totally reasonable, and it is really easy to find something awesome. I particularly enjoyed the amazing shoe and hat selection and men’s shirts(for my boyfriend). They are dog friendly, too. A great place to stop by after drinks or brunch in the area — and they are open late. Yay!

So cute! Great use of the space from what it was. Think it’s a great addition to the changing neighborhood.
