My wife and I recently purchased our first home and was recommended by a good friend to have Gregg Onzo as my realtor. After a few emails and basic phone calls I knew we made a wise decision. Being our first home purchase, we had no idea what to do or what to expect. Gregg was very patient and listed out all the things that we should do to begin our search. He recommended many homes to filter through and was very prompt at sending new listings that fit my «wants» as soon as they were available. After going to several open houses on his recommendation to get a feel for what our money would get us, we moved to the next step of making offers. Gregg walked us through the whole process and gave us realistic estimates of what the home would go for. He also recommended a mortgage lender that ended up winning our business. Of course we tread lightly on our first offer, and Gregg even knew that it was more for the experience than anything else. After unsuccessful first offer, Gregg joined us for our next round of open houses and it was great for him to point out things we never even thought of. The second home that we put in an offer for was the last one, and Gregg’s emphasis on the letter to the sellers as well as the offer price were spot on. We had very aggressive terms for our home closure and coupled with an untimely international business trip for me, the situation was very stressful. However it all worked out and Gregg helped us every step of the way. He even helped recommend and facilitate a chimney inspection at our request. Home buying was without a doubt one of the most stressful situations we have ever been in, and I cannot even imagine what it would have been like without Gregg walking me through it. I will highly recommend Gregg to any of my friends that are looking for a new realtor.
