Been enjoying their coffee for nearly two years… Sadly the place has been closed for weeks now. Not sure what the deal is.

Best coffee in the Financial District. I don’t care how friendly or unfriendly the guy is who takes my change(like the other posters on here) — I just care that the coffee is fresh and of quality for my buck seventy five. And btw, he is definitely friendly. If you want service with a smile, go support The Man at Starbucks and enjoy their mass produced rocket fuel. BLECH.

I love this joint… er… hole in the wall. or plunge on the side of the building. whatever you call it. It’s so close to my work place. I love them. Ken and Arlene or how I see them. Popeye and Olive Oil are super Duber friendly. Plus one Star for always having French Roast coffee ready in the wee hours of the morning! Plus another Star for having Sugar in the Raw conveniently hidden in the back for me so all the sugar packet thieves can’t get to them!(I know you’re out there! A little upgrade from Sweet n’ Low isn’t it! THIEVES) Plus three Stars for naming their Café after their daughter.“Gracie” how cute! Ohh. and their Ham and Cheese croissant is delicioso!

No Starbucks served here, thank god. It’s steps from my office and I can also get breakfast food here. Service is pleasant and quick.

This joint looks like a lunch wagon that crashed into the side of a building and they just decided to start serving food and drink out of what was left of the wreckage. It’s highly random, which amuses and delights me, but just doesn’t offer anything unique or cheap enough to make me want to wander over there versus the plethora of other places surrounding my office who vend the same junk. Two stars for novelty, though!

This is certainly a hole in the wall, but taint no hole. :) From a glance across the street and a a sight of the name, I immediately imagined a sweet little old lady handing out coffee and sticky buns. I was not to be disappointed as a friendly little lady served me with lovely cuppa joe and a pastry. A burly young man provides the muscle and handles the money. They also do espresso drinks, salads, sandwiches, cereal, and granola. A pertect place for a busy breakfast, brunch, lunch, or snack when your sick of the grind of the corporate franchise.

Hmm, I bet most people walk right by this place. It is located in a tiny little hole-in-the-wall spot along Pine St. and two really nice people run the place. Food is the standard morning goodies, pastries, coffee, tea, etc. My favorite is the yogurt parfait. They even keep the granola in a separate container so it doesn’t get soggy. Yep, they try harder. We’ve all used the term«hole-in-the-wall» and this place is one a 3 foot deep slice in the side of a building. Anyway, I thought they deserve a «yelp» for their friendly service and reasonable prices.
