Definitely one of my favorite libraries of all time. Here’s what I’ve gathered in opinion after 2 dedicated years here: PROS: *Open 24⁄7 Mondays — Fridays: This is PERFECT for my proud procrastinating self to stay up all night the night before an exam to study in this quiet space, or print up my homework for the class that day early in the morning. Love that they just started this last year. *CLEAN, omg do you want dirty musty books? NO. These smell like new books, like you’re walking into Borders. *Lots of space to study and work. Basement, 1st floor, 2nd floor, atrium, SOMANYTABLES it’s great *Fast internet service that’s reliable *Many bathrooms *Vending machine downstairs by the atrium. LIFESAVER *Printing full pages are 6 cents. When there’s a ton of ink on that, I’m not complaining. CONS: *It can get pretty hot in the back of some of the areas, just sit down for about 10 minutes and you’ll be fine though *Sometimes it can get quite crowded during finals, but hey, what do you expect? It’s a library *Staff can sometimes be a little snooty, but I wouldn’t want to be working in a library either, so I can try to empathize *Only one exit in the front. Everything else would set off alarms… no bueno

It’s an okay library to study in. The staff is great and it’s quiet for the most part. The only thing I would complain about is the rude man up at the front who runs the desk. I went in asking if it was ok for me to use my moms ID since I didn’t have one. He acted very offensive… almost belligerent. Very unprofessional. Being an alumni, it felt like a total slap in the face. Aside from that, the library is open 24 hours a day from what I remember when school is in session. If you need a place to study the I’d recommend it. Just watch out for the guy who looks and acts like a raging buffalo at the front desk.
