I live on the same corner as this unfriendly neighborhood store. Used it for the first few years I lived here only for emergencies. The owner does not deserve a penny of my hard earned money.

What’s up with unfriendly people like this managing to stay in business? Like seriously…
First visit, I stopped by to pick up some bottled water. I greeted the owner as I stepped in. The owner (?) scowled, watched me closely, the whole time I was there. Whatever I gave him two more chances. Same thing. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. As someone else mentioned about this place… it’s like being silently insulted. Never again.

This is the most unfriendly man on earth! I am embarrassed when friends come over and have to shop at this store !! I will walk a block or two to shop elsewhere

The place is a true mini-​mart, it’s pretty tiny but clean and has a little bit of what you probably want.
My problem is with the guy at the counter. He has no manners whatsoever.
You can say «good morning» or «hello» or «thanks» and he just stares impassively at you like a dead bullfrog.
Whenever I have come in the past, I have always left feeling insulted — like someone was just silently rude to me — so I’ve decided not to come here again.

This little store does have everything you might want in a pinch. But the goods are overpriced and are sold by an unfriendly man (the owner). It is always my personal mission to get him to smile and in 4 years that has literally happened twice! Unfortunatley, because of the stores location, I remain a loyal customer.

Very convenient little local market, that stocks everything from wine to nails. Whatever you may need. The owner is always friendly, even when I come in my pjs to get milk to go with my coffee.
