Really great shirts that are hand printed by the owner. I picked up a Marcos shirt that looks rad. They also have really cool day of the dead shirts and lucha libre masks.

I bought 3 t-shirts at the Carnival festival. The man running the booth is very nice and had great t-shirts.

This may be the find of the year for me. In this tiny store on 24Th St. you’ll find Mexican wrestling masks, ponchos, cell phone holders emblazoned with pot leaves and paintings on black velvet. You know, the ones with the Aztec warrior standing atop a pyramid with a barely clad woman lying unconscious in his arms. The best part is that it’s called«Indigenous Arts and Crafts.» Now I don’t know much about Mexican history but from what I gather from this store I’m picturing the proud and mighty Inca and Maya civilizations being constructed by a race of men and woman, all of which are wearing Mexican wrestling masks. The men toiling away building the monumental and timeless pyramids, the women tirelessly stitching pot leaves to cell phone holders. All of this laying the groundwork for Chicano art… and that cheesy shit they put on black velvet. Class dismissed! The wife and I picked up one of those Mexican wrestling masks yesterday. With Christmas right around the corner this may be my one stop shopping spot. Well, naturally, I HAD to try it on. It fit like a FUCKINGGLOVE! I think I may have missed my true calling.
