Really like this gallery. It shows when someone loves what they do as much as Jill, listening to her geek out about the pieces is great.

F’ing love this place. Magic around every corner, every beer ice cold, and all the betties are BANGIN. Go. Do it. Get your sloppy ass some culture, cop a buzz, and spit some of your sorry game, all at once.

Hands down, gallery Hijinks is my favorite gallery in SF!!! Jillian and Joe exhibit mostly local, young and upcoming artists. The shows I’ve been to have used various mixed medias, mainly contemporary, attracting a fun and approachable crowd. Often times there’s free wine but if not, there’s a cheap liquor store catty-corner to the gallery. Also, there’s parking right outside for bikes and I’ve heard parking for cars is somewhat good too. Great art, awesome space, cool people, good times– what more do you want?

The chic and professional Jillian MacIntosh at the helm of this creative endeavor, a young gallery in SF flowing with positive vibes and new ground material.

Gallery Hijinks opened a few months ago on my block. Every time I walk by there is a curious passerby checking out the current exhibit. I’ve been in a few times during business hours which according to their website is Tues — Thurs 11AM — 6PM, Fri 11AM — 4PM, and Sat 12PM — 6PM. As a art enthusiast, their unpretentious vibe is refreshing and reflective of the neighborhood. They show a variety of different artists with affordable pieces. I hope to make it to an opening exhibit soon!
