When it comes to spending $ 100k’s on a house, one should be *extremely* particular about the professionals supporting you. Foster’s involvement was critical for meeting the aggressive deadlines in my contract, which are inevitable in San Francisco. He was one of the few people I never had to ask twice to supply information or complete a task.
As a first time home buyer, I had an endless barrage of questions, which he answered from day one in a patient and lucid manner. The rates he offered were equal to or better than those I found with numerous credit unions or banks elsewhere, so why expend the effort when he’ll do it for you more efficiently? Additionally, institutions elsewhere cannot offer his local experience and availability, and the complexity of the SF real estate market cannot be understated.
