Randomly found this place while on a walk Sunday evening after putting my kid to bed. Wanted a slice and the guy at the front(Seth) said they could get an 8″ out in 10 mins, so I decided to wait since it smelled good and Seth was friendly and enthusiastic(without overdoing it). I got the Supreme just so I could get a good general feel for the pizza. Ate at the tiny counter. Seth gave me free fresh basil for being a first-timer. Crust a bit crispy just like I like it. Good cheese. Tasty ingredients. Loved it! I’ll be back. I was missing PIzza Orgasmica ever since they closed, and I will still miss it since you could order drinks and watch sports there, which is not part of Firehouse Pizzeria’s gig. But just pizza-wise, I’d probably go with Firehouse anyway.

This taste like Totino’s party pizza. I would have much rather had Digiorno, but I didn’t know I was going to be choosing from that caliber when I ordered from a restaurant. Ours also had burnt crumbs all over the bottom like they never clean their oven. Add in the hefty price tag as the kicker and I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t even go here if I lived next door.

Wanted pizza last night and instead of calling my favorite spot he called his old go to… The Firehouse. They quoted us 50 – 60 minutes for delivery. Ok, that sounds fine. After the hour mark we called to check and they said it was out for delivery. 30 minutes later we get a call from them saying they will be here in 3 minutes. How do we not have the pizza yet if it was out for delivery 30 minutes ago? We live pretty close. Pizza came, pizza was cold. Way to much sauce, absolutely no crust. Over and hour and a half for gross pizza? From now on we call the pizza joint.

Drop in for a quick pizza at firehouse just before my daughter’s lesson. We asked for slices, but they said they have personal 8 inch pizzas and they cook in 5 minutes. We got 2 of those, and they did not lie. They were nice and fast! The pizza was very thin crust and crispy. Very good. Nice sauce. My daughter said she does not like it too saucy, but neither too dry. This passes her test. We also got some garlic balls, bread balls rubbed in garlic. These were a nice snack. They get our thumbs up!

Be careful if you decide to eat in… the pizza comes right out of the oven and it’s hot! Nearly burnt my finger when it got into the sauce. But aside from that… since pizza Orgasmica closed, I’ve been looking for a place to grab a small pizza pie. The toppings are fresh! I got a vegan cheese, jalapeños, garlic, sundried tomatoes and spinach. Some pizza places… dare i say use can jalapeños… gross. The crust is nice, thin and crispy. The cool dude behind the counter hooked me up with free garlic knots… which were yummy!

We just got done biking the Golden Gate Bridge and were starving! So happy this place caught our eye while searching Unilocal. It was some of the best pizza I’ve had. We ordered the Greek pesto and couldn’t have asked for better. I usually don’t enjoy thin crust, but it was perfectly crisp yet chewy. They are generous with the cheese which is always a plus. It tasted fresh and flavorful. Their garlic knots are to die for! Check in and get a free order(6). Hot, melted buttery, cheesy goodness … What’s not to love? The knots come with a side of marinara. The service was fast and friendly. The place itself is pretty tiny. They have a counter that sits about 5 people then there is outside seating. I wouldn’t recommend it for large groups unless you take it to go.

Well, the pizza is still 5 stars and it seems like they’ve gotten their act together a little bit, at least that was my experience. The pizza was ready exactly when they said it would be this time.

Order veggie pizza and it was really yummy! Loved it. Wait time wasn’t too much, even though it was weekend. Recommended!

How did I just find out about this place when I live so close to it? The pizza is amazing! It’s a thin crust pizza, well toasted on the bottom with a nice amount of soft bread. Not an overwhelming amount where I feel like I’m eating way too much carbs, but not so little where I feel like I’m eating a toasted tortilla — it was perfect! I came with my boyfriend and a friend and we ordered two medium pizzas and it was just the perfect amount. We got the margherita pizza and it was very cheesy which I like. The cheese was stretchy when I bit into it — yummm! It was a very light tasting dish even though there were a lot of cheese. We also got the BBQ chicken pizza. The BBQ sauce was not overwhelming, it had the perfect amount of chicken, and onions. I can’t get over the dough. It was the best part of the pizza — the thickness and toasty-ness was perfect! I’m surprised I like this place as much as I do seeing that I’m not a big fan of pizza. Maybe it’s because we ate there when the pizza was still hot out of the oven. I need to order it to go next time to see if I still like it just as much. I’m already craving some more and I just had some yesterday!

Went here with some friends — two of us wanted salad and 3 wanted pizza, so we settled on this place. The salad– I ordered the Greek. And it was quite a disappointment. Not enough of anything besides lettuce — hardly tasted the feta or olives and TOO much vinegar in their dressing. It overwhelmed the flavor I would have gotten from the miniscule amount of cheese in my salad. Thankfully I convinced someone to share the salad with me so that I could eat some of the pizza and get the vinegar taste out of my mouth. The pizza — I snagged a piece from my freinds’ large supreme pizza. Meh. Tasted like a pretty mediocre pizza. In their defence, it’s not the pizza special I would have ordered. Maybe other pizzas would be more to my liking, but thanks to the underwhelming dining experience, I probably won’t be going back to try out others.

Ordered the supreme pizza and it had no flavor what’s so ever! We didn’t finish it & usually I’ll keep leftover pizza but I just threw this one away. We joked that digiorno(frozen pizza you get at store) was better lol but if I’m in San Fran again I don’t think I’ll come here again

First time I have ordered from Firehouse and I’m pretty upset about this pizza. I got the vegetarian and substituted garlic for broccoli. Unfortunately the chopped garlic is sprinkled on top of the other toppings and it’s still pretty crunchy. As in. not cooked enough. Like, nearly raw. I like the fact that both yellow and green bell peppers are used. And that’s about it. Even though I ordered a small pizza it is a very, very small pizza. There is no side crust which I can tell you constitutes a crisis for Miss Cozy and I am not loving it either. Maybe that is a different style but it boils down to less pizza and a much less attractive pizza. Eating as I write. I can’t get past the nearly raw garlic. I will probably toss what I didn’t inhale, more than half the pizza because it’s making me a little nauseous. Waste. I called them and told the guy that the raw garlic is making me nauseous and he explained to me that my problem is that they also use garlic in their sauce. Oh. Because I haven’t had like 30 million pizzas in my long life and I have noooo idea that garlic is supposed to be raw-ish. And he thanked me for letting them know. So, save your money. I was starving and looking for the pizza that would get here the fastest. That didn’t work either. I was quoted«45 to 47 minutes» and it got here in an hour and 8 minutes. Which I would not have minded if I had an edible pizza. I just should have waited for Bella because I am literally nauseous and that’s not the desired result. A very Mercury in retrograde pizza but I am going to try the pragmatic thing which is cover the pizza with foil and try cooking it some more, which may fix both the undercooked garlic problem and the rubbery crust. I don’t order pizza that often and hate to just throw away money.

We were in search of a Pizza place when we visited Golden Gate Bridge… This was the nearest and had decent reviews. One of the best Pizza joints I’ve been in recent times… Fresh and very non-chain(non Pizza Hut or dominos) taste. I would certainly go back when I am in the area. And yes, make sure you try Spicy Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza…

I don’t need to remind you how important first impressions are. The man at the register was very polite which was a plus. But I’m going to go straight to the food. The chopped salad we ordered was mediocre. Romaine lettuce with chopped tomatoes and cucumbers. With some cheese and avocado. That’s literally all there is in it. Pizza: we ordered hawaiian, supreme, spicy cheeseburger, and margherita. The margherita prepared to us was diced tomatoes with cheese. Where’d the basil, garlic and olive oil go? Honestly for the price and reputation, I expected more. Very disappointed that they would slip up like that. I’ll probably give them one more try before taking my business back to Gaspares! Word of advice: check your pizzas before you leave.

I moved to the neighborhood a couple of months back but recently tried out this place finally. We decided on the goad cheese pizza which comes with a white sauce. It was really fantastic. the crust was totally perfect and the cheese was just the right mix of cheeses so that the goat cheese wasn’t overpowering or crumbly. I really look forward to trying their red sauce and their other pizzas. I don’t recommend eating there though; It’s pretty much just a register and ovens inside, there’s only a small counter with a couple of seats, and a couple of tables outside.

I heard good things about this place so I ordered a take out pizza. One half Italian & other half was plain cheese, to please both my kiddos’ taste. Is it normal to have long pieces of plastic string stuck inside the cheese pizza section? No I think not. Pizza wasn’t that good. Any pizzeria that has plastic strings in their food should be reported to the health department. Big fat thumbs down Firehouse Pizza crew. I’m really sorry I gave you a big fat tip, will not ever be returning.

Updating my review because this is my favorite pizza place in the neighborhood. I always try other pizza places cuz I love variety but I just end up regretting it. I love their crispy thin crust. The chicken club pizza is my go-to. Sounds weird but it totally works! And I love love loooooove their garlic knots. The red sauce is perfect. Sometimes they have their off nights where delivery is a little slow and the pizza toppings are a little skimpy, but overall this place is solid and I love it.

Firehouse Pizzeria is one of the few places that delivers pizza to my neighborhood with crust on the thinner crust. Just what I like! The crust is crispy, but still retains a nice chew since it’s not super thin. Last time I ordered delivery was back in May 2012. *6″ pizza with pepperoni and mushroom *10″ Supreme Pizza(no olives) with jalapenos *10″ Spicy Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza *Chopped Salad *Cheesy Bread *Mac N Cheese w/Smoked Bacon The pizzas were great! I like that they offer a 6″ personal pizza since at times, the roommate and I have very different tastes in toppings. Since the pizza crust is on the thinner side, it can take more than one pizza to fill you up. So if you’re super hungry, Order a couple different ones or go for the larger sized pizzas. When I used to order from them, they didn’t have an online ordering option. You had to phone it in the old school way. Now that I can order online, I may be getting delivery from them again soon!
