Nothing too special. Its a nice place to eat at when you’re craving fast and cheap Brazilian steakhouse type food.

Chicken cooked on point, I don’t think anyone would argue with that. Tender, falls off the bone, cooked all the way through, juicy, etc. — either that or I just got incredibly lucky that day Problem: lacks in flavor. Significantly lacks in flavor, it was just a well cooked piece of chicken nothing else. The paella side was also a disappointment. Tasted nothing like the seafood paella other places sell but I mean it’s mall food, not expecting it to be great anyways. The potatoes side was pretty good but by the end of the meal, I was just dousing everything in the chili oil/sauce they had(which is actually spicy surprisingly — I have extremely high spiciness tolerance btw as in I eat ghost chilies loool)

Not too many great options for lunch at Westfield. Hubby and I met up during lunch break for a quick lunch. I know he said Fire of Brazil was decent(though of course can’t compare to Espetus), so I decided to try it. He got a one side with main(which only works for the beef option) and chose the paella as his side. I opted for the Samba bowl which came with white rice and beans, but I hate beans so I said to skip those. They also let us try the chimchurri sauce and a dry mix to add if we’d like. The Samba bowl is under $ 8 and the beef with one side I believe was about $ 11. I liked that the chicken leg was nicely seasoned and moist. The white rice was standard. I wish they gave an option for a side instead of beans or at least paying $ 1 more for the option of substituting a side for the beans. I liked the dry spice as well that I tried with a bit of his beef and just topping it on the rice to give it some flavor. The paella was super bland though. Beef looked about medium. They could have gave him a little more beef or thicker slices, but overall it wasn’t bad. I think the chicken here was better than the beef. If you’re wanting something different while at Westfield, I would suggest Fire of Brazil. Go for the chicken samba for the best value, especially if you don’t mind beans!

Excellent express version of a Brazilian steakhouse! Great approximation. The chicken was very tasty, plantains and kale excellent and steak cooked medium rare to my liking. I hope we get these around the country. Great concept.

Service was extremely meh. Came here before something I had to do for work. Got the Samba bowl($ 7.99) with chicken, rice and pinto beans and was pretty unimpressed. Everything was just kinda bland, but I tried my friend’s pork and it was really flavorful. Service was also very subpar. Nothing exciting or amiable. Also, a bottle of water for $ 2??? Why, mall prices, why. Probably will not be back.

I had the beef combo with potatoes and and plantains. This is one of my favorite dishes in this food court. I would say pretty delicious food for a food court chain but a little pricey for the beef/steak combo. I would have given 5 stars but today I got the beef combo and it was mostly fat and barely any meat. The other times were perfect.

I love this place. Good price, good taste. The samba bowl is perfect and the black bean is tasty. Not like the 1 I tasted in Rio, it is more solid bean here. But in Rio, it is more stew like. I think they tailer the taste for the locals. They favor still very good. Chicken and pork are both good.

My friend keeps insisting they have the best chicken here and came along to try it out. Well it was dry and the paella rice was bland and uneventful. I got the beet salad as a side and it was disgusting. It had some kind of weird glaze on it and was terrible. Try this place at your own risk.

As a Brazilian I really know churrascarias. This is not a very good one. The beef is ok –soft and juicy but is not as tasty as the ones we have in Brazil. And the sides are a disaster. Beans in Brazil are salty, with bacon and some spices to make it tastier. Here the beans were sweet!!! This is the opposite of a Brazilian bean!

I had the Samba bowl here for Lunch today. I had taken a quick BART trip into the City to address my Maido(Japanese paper) fix and the Westfield food court seemed like a quick and easy choice before returning home. And since I was in Brazil exactly a year ago, why not relive this great experience is a small way. My combination included chicken, rice, and black beans. That tasty basic combination is just what I needed. Portions were generous, open seating was readily available, and the price(with soft drink) was very reasonable. I won’t be purposely seeking out the Westfield food court in the future, but if I find myself here, this is where you might find me again.

I went here on my lunch break today. I got the chicken plate for $ 10.75. I asked for the chicken wrapped bacon and it came with 2 sides. They only gave me 3 pieces of the chicken. I asked them why only three. They said that they chicken got bigger. It did by not even close to an inch. I’ve been going to this place every now and then. But 3 pieces for $ 10.75? I should’ve gotten the other chicken if that’s the case. They gave me almost 3 scoops of sides which is rice and pasta. But it’s a side dish… Won’t come back here and waste my money… Oh the pasta and rice weren’t even fresh… It’s cold and taste like it was cooked last night…

I never had any problems here, and the food is extremely tasty! You can get the Samba Bowl Pork with Soda for only $ 8.99(total is less than $ 10). Pork: You get a large portion, and the meat was done crispy and a little medium-rare. Love it! Rice: Nothing special here. Feijoada Beans: Also nothing special here. I was hoping for a rich smoky, flavorful beans, but I think it was left out for too long. Overall, I’m satisfied, and unless you don’t like how they make the meat, you’ll love it here! Try it at least once!

I love this place. When I work in SF, I always pop in to get a plate. My friend and I always share because you get a lot of food. The quality of the meat is great and they have a lot of options for sides too. It is a must try when you’re in the food court. I’m glad they have this option here now, it’s a good addition to the selection of food in the food court. Service is great too, always friendly staff. Try it, you won’t regret it!

I probably shouldn’t have tried this Westfield food court kiosk so soon after experiencing a lovely Sunday brunch at Minas Brazilian Restaurant & Cachaçaria in Hayes Valley where hearty home-style dishes were accompanied by live samba music. It was bound to disappoint, especially since it focuses on just one aspect of Brazilian cuisine, churrasco, which is the Portuguese translation of barbecue. Granted it’s a great, carnivorous aspect when done right like at Espetus where you could have unique meats like picanha(cuts of sirloin rounds perfectly tender and juicy) and lombinho(pork tenderloin slow-roasted in Parmesan cheese). It really isn’t like the food poisoning scene in «Bridesmaids» at all. Here you just decide between the 3 – 4 meats they happen to have speared into the cutting board since this is just an Express version of the Fire of Brazil restaurants they have in Atlanta, San Salvador and Panama City(though ironically not in any city in Brazil). The server had beef and pork sausage on his spears(photo: ), so I went for the $ 15.75 Mixed Meats Plate combining hearty portions of both and two sides. Side dishes were plentiful — eight warm ones and five cold ones. I went for the Mixed Paella and Cauliflower with Cheese(photo: ). I’m not going to argue that it wasn’t good. The beef slices were particularly juicy. It’s just that it was prepared very by-the-book with the paella and cauliflower especially bland accompaniments. I gave it another try a couple of weeks later and had the Mixed Meats Plate again, this time with the beef and chicken thighs, which were unfortunately overcooked. The Paella wasn’t much improved but the Kale Salad was a nice touch(photo: ). My conclusion is that this express stop is probably best tried if you plan to hibernate over the winter and have an interest in stuffing yourself silly. FOOD — 3 stars… the beef slices are the best part, the rest is on the generic side AMBIANCE — 2.5 stars… this churrascaria is an island in the middle of the food court SERVICE — 3 stars… nice enough and generous with the portions TOTAL — 3 stars… two trips to this slice of Brazil did not make me want to wear fruit on my head

Always happy to add a star, and Fire of Brazil has earned that. I have been back a couple of times since and the minor issues were non-existent. I like to add the food is very flavorful, some of the tastiest food in the Wesfield Mall plaza. The side dishes are full of flavor and compliment the main meat dish perfectly. The mall food court has a LOT of choices, and having tried most of them it was time to give Fire of Brazil a try. Food is delicious! Service is excellent. I went with the Beef Combo, and two sides. The beef is sirloin cooked rare to perfection, the sides I choose were white Brazilian rice and black beans both very tasty.

I’ve never had Brazilian food so I decided to try this. I ordered bacon-wrapped chicken with Brazilian rice and potatoes. It cost about $ 15 just for the meal itself and let me tell you that it was not worth it. Bacon-wrapped chicken: 3⁄5 — it wasn’t flavorful at all. Brazilian rice: 2⁄5 — the rice was cold when I got it. Potatoes: 3⁄5 — Omg, this too was bland. Literally had to put salt on all of the food to make it bearable to eat. I would suggest finding a different place to eat because this was overpriced, undercooked, and mediocre. Would I come back here? No. Would I recommend this? No.

I’m a huge supporter of unrepresented cuisines and am thus more forgiving to them than I am towards well established types of food. Seems like this mall food court stall is trying to give you a fast food(and not-all-you-can-eat) version of the traditional Churrascaria experience. The meat is pretty tasty, though it feels like you should get more for the $ 15.75 price tag. Each meat plate comes with two sides, which seem mediocre at best. I was teetering on giving 2 stars, but the fact that Brazilian Churrascaria fast food is hard to come by and that the meats are tasty(albeit overpriced), swayed me to a solid«A-OK» of 3 stars. Picanha: Crispy exterior side with tender medium-rareness on the inner side. Reminds me a bit of shawarma since(hopefully) each customer gets a crispy slice as the meat is seared between cuttings. Alcatra: Very similar to the Picanha in all manners. Though the Picanha might have tasted slightly better. Pasta Linguiça: Ziti with tomato sauce caked to the side(instead of being more liquid for the pasta to swim in). Some ground pork sausage mixed in like a big chunks of bolognese. Pretty mediocre for pasta. Feijoada: I’ve definitely had better. It’s more like black beans with a few bits of meat. Was able to salvage it with a healthy scoop of Farofa. Farofa: I love this yucca flour condiment. Seems like it came with some dried meat too. Perfect pairing to the Feijoada. Unfortunately you have to specifically ask for it; it should just come with a Feijoada order by default. Chili Pimiento: Some spicy pickled peppers as a condiment. Adds a nice kick, but doesn’t have much flavor otherwise.

Mall food? Brazilian mall food? Does this really exist? Is this really happening? Please pinch me because I’m still just so accustomed to the fast food mall courts filled with hot dogs on a stick and McDonalds and Subway and depression. Anyways, Fire of Brazil is kind of like, well, Brazilian mall food. So I got fished here. The dude with the free sample tray stopped me, gave me a sample, and it was hook, line, and sinker. He got me. So I went ahead and ordered and hooray, got myself some slices of beef and some paella. Paella was a little dry to be honest, and it had like zero hints of seafood, but it still wasn’t too bad tasting. The beef was a little underwhelming. Like, the first few bites were really good, then it kinda went downhill from there. Just got boring to eat, because it’s just straight up beef. Guess I can’t complain too much because that’s what I ordered, but I found myself adding salt to my meal near the end there. Definitely a solid addition to the food court down there at Westfield. Adds some much needed diversity. But would I try them out again? Ehh maybe. Hopefully I don’t get fished again! Or catfished…

$ 17 for a Churrascaria lunch? Ouch! I’m all about the Churrascaria experience, having experienced it a few times, including one in Sao Paulo Brazil. So when I saw the semi circular Picanha cuts at Fire of Brazil, I needed to try them and asked for the super special which is $ 9.75 for a smaller portion of beef and then a single side. While he was slicing preparing the Picanha, I decided to add another side for $ 2.99. He told me that if I was going to do that, I might as well ask for the Beef with two sides because not only was there another side but a larger portion of beef. I chose the classic Brazilian side Feijoada(Brazilian Black Bean Stew) and baked cauliflower florets with cheese. Veridict: Beef was very tasty, juicy enough, and plentiful but not particularly tender – the cut did allow the great flavor but comparing other cuts like this from other Churrascarias, this was simply not as good. The sides were disappointing – the normally very rich and filling Feijoada was watery and very under-seasoned to the point of being bland. So was the case for cauliflower which, while properly cooked, was also under-seasoned(I mean how can you go wrong with melted cheese over cauliflower??) and so was not worth it. And of course it really is not a real Churrascaria experience when there is no real choice to turn down swords of meat coming your way. Given that the Picanha was one of the top cuts that a good Churrascaria serves and this one disappointed, I have little faith that their lesser cuts would also be good – especially for the high prices they are charging.
