I was strong armed by the delivery person for a better tip. after he handed me my food he told me in a threatening voice and posture. «Now i know next time.» The food is very delightful but i will not be ordering to go at all anymore. id highly suggest not doing it unless you were ready for a confrontation.

Horrible. I went in to use my Groupon and the A-hole owner told me in a very rude tone he «cancelled» all remaining Groupons and wouldn’t accept it. I replied«How come?» He replied«I cancel! No accept!» I replied«Look, I’m here now — you can do the right thing and honor the coupon *you created* [dumba$$!] If I leave now I’m definitely never coming back, ya know?» He replied«I don’t care!» So I left. Don’t support this horrible business.

I ordered the Salmon Teriyaki and it was still RAW on the inside and almost burnt on the outside. When I called to complain, the person who answered was no where near apologetic and asked what was wrong as if this happens all the time and if it was my fault like I was bothering her. She handed the phone to someone else, a man who said that when they are done with their other deliveries would bring me a replacement meal. They informed me of this at 7:10pm and it is now 10:39pm and still no food. Wouldn’t they want to help a disgruntled customer first?!

I would give a zero if i could. I went in with a groupin and they refused to honor it. The guy said they stopped taking them. I very pregnant and explained i just sat on a bus for 40 minutes but he refused. The place looked dirty and small. Once i kept asking and then i yelled, he couldnt make eye contact with me. He knew he was wrong!!!

If I could give them zero stars, I would. My mother purchased a groupon from them, which usually comes with a caution flag. We went on a Thursday evening and were the only ones that were even in the restaurant. It took over 15 minutes for someone to come to take our order, and everybody was in the back room somewhere so we couldn’t even wave someone over. The food was disgusting. My parents brought back some leftovers, and I’m usually not one to turn down Chinese leftovers but I simply refused to touch anymore of their food. There were gnats or some small flies that flew all over our table even though it’s an indoor establishment in the chill of San Francisco. I saw someone else post their long list of inspection violations over the years. I, too, am surprised this place isn’t closed down just from the inspections themselves much less inability to get repeat customers. Needless to say, my mother now has an appreciation to curb her groupon addiction and do some research before trying random restaurants, and forcing me to participate in such culinary disasters.

My order was very simple, two ordinary dishes, soup, some noodles and a california roll. almost TWOHOURS later, I received food at my door, after calling twice and being told two times«it was on it’s way» Well you guessed it friends, THEFOODWASLUKEWARMATBEST, top off the order was WRONG and it tasted gross. Like there were chemicals in it or something, really bad. They put PORK inside of the side noodle dish, WITHNOLISTINGOFTHEIRBEINGANYMEAT, i’m vegetarian so that sucked and I ended up not being able to eat. I also have a friend with a sensitivity to rice who ordered their roll as a handroll with no rice, something EVERYJAPANESE restaurant I’ve ever been to can easily do. THEYIGNOREDTHEREQUEST… didn’t even call and let us know. So, naturally, I call back… annoyed and hungry, asking for a refund or at least a replacement on the food that was wrong. Well, they said it would be another 2 hours before I could get food and went on to lecture me on how when«places are busy it takes longer and if they refunded every order that was late they wouldn’t be in business» enough said. The manager was incredibly rude, said if I wanted a refund he would not send me the food as a courtesy(which would have been the obvious smart move) and clearly did not understand how to run a restaurant. BOTTOMLINE: Go to another place! There are so many. This food isn’t good, the delivery takes forever and the people are rude and lack all courtesy. LUCKYFORME, I ordered through Eat24 and THEY reimbursed me with sincere apologies. THUMBSWAYYYYDOWN!

Worst tempura I’ve ever had in my life. It was so hard and greasy it was inedible. We ordered delivery so we couldn’t send it back so we just threw it away. The sushi was edible but not good. The soup was weird. We were expecting miso but got some kind of strange root vegetable broth. It was actually not that bad. Really disappointed and will never order from them again.

I gave this place two stars on Grubhub — i think i was terribly mistaken. It sucked. Thai iced tea tasted like it has bad milk. The tempura was stale and hard — could barely chew it. The soup that came with it was bland and had a weird texture. The teriyaki chicken had a nice sauce but was pretty burnt. And, to top it off, the delivery guy annoyingly rang my doorbell 6 times in 30 seconds. Based on my experience and the reviews i see here on Unilocal — how is this place still open?

OMG i should’ve listened to other reviews in Unilocal saying don’t order from here. So i ordered through eat 24 and my partner ordered fried rice that doesn’t have any veggies in it. i’m a veganvegetarian and they mix my brown rice with shrimp, so basically they totally missed my order, i actually already gave them a clear order, but somehow they’ve missed it. the food was okay. i ordered veggie soup tofu, so i ended up just eating the soup only. kinda disappointing for an experience. so i called eat 24& the restaurant basically want me to order again nexttime and they’ll give me 15%off for their mistake. I don’t think i’ll order next time… so i lost a couple of dollars for not getting my order right. duh.

I placed my Living Social order in the evening and when I came to pick it up Feng Shui said a drink was not included but when I showed them that it was in the Living Social voucher description they said the deal was only meant for lunch hours although there was no time of day restriction on the voucher. Feng Shui did not honor the agreement as defined and I would not go back because of this. This short-sighted cheap business owner would rather save the cost of a drink at the expense of losing a customer. I totally understand that sometimes restaurants need to draw the line to mitigate ridiculous customer requests but I was only asking for what was promised on the voucher and what I bought. I’m now hesitant to use Living Social. This place is horrible!!! Me and my gf wanted late night sushi but didn’t wanna go out, so I found this place through living social. Ordered food at 9:45, was told it would be delivered as they closed at 10:30. Food didn’t get to us till about 12!!! I payed anyways because it was so late and nowhere else to go. This was the least of my worries. The tempura was soggy and absolutely horrible. Of the 6 rolls of sushi we ate not one was edible. Seriously worst sushi of my life. I called the next day to complain and try and get my money back and all the manager/owner did was accuse me of being a cheap skate and trying to «swindle» money out of him. Out of a 70 $ order he said he would refund me 10 $…and I’m still waiting to see that almost 2 weeks later. This place is a pile of shit and should be avoided at all costs. Horrible food and even worst customer service.

Wow. I’ve never felt compelled to to type a bad review, but the food was just that horrible. The fact that I threw up attempting to eat their food is worthy of a bad review and a detailed account of my awful experience. I ordered the Ma Po tofu lunch special, miso soup, and a spicy tuna roll… I ate the egg roll that came with the lunch special. It tasted like a normal egg roll. nothing special, but it wasn’t bad. Then, I moved on to the miso soup. It was bland, and the tofu tasted off… I decided it was a no go and stopped eating. My spicy tuna roll didn’t even look appetizing, but I thought I was being critical because of the soup. I tried the first piece and had to spit it out. I can’t remember the last time I did that. It was absolutely disgusting. The WORST sushi I’ve ever put in my mouth. There was barely even any tuna inside the roll, but what was there was old. They couldn’t cover that up with the extra fluff. I can’t believe it got worse. I didn’t think it was possible. I took one bite of my ma po tofu and immediately gagged. Despite the ma po being tasteless and the tofu tasting like it had not been stored properly and/or old, there was a horrible odor to the silverware and rice. I thought it was my imagination, but BOTH the silverware AND my food smelled and tasted like mold. absolutely disgusting. I tried to wash the taste out of my mouth with water and juice, but it was to no avail. I actually threw up. That’s what I get for not checking Unilocal,and to hell with you GrubHub for lying to me with a mediocre 3 star review. never ever again.

only silly gooses would order Japanese food there. I have ordered a couple delivery Chinese dishes from there. The price is affordable for lunch special, the food isn’t horrible, a mediocre Chinese food, BUT the portions are huge. I got 2 items lunch special and its good enough for 2 bellies. Also, the delivery was on time. Cheap food that does the job, don’t expect anything amazing. But the egg roll was awesome!

I think I just had the worst meal of my life. Before reading all of the negative reviews on Unilocal,I made the mistake of ordering a late night meal for my GF and myself from Feng Shui. We ordered 2 dinner boxes and a couple of sushi rolls. The chicken showed up and tasted burnt from the start. Rice was basically unedible. After reading someone else’s story about fruit flys in the soy sauce, we didn’t even consider using it. We basically choked down our food, without trying to taste it to much. Sushi was so terrible, we didn’t even eat it after taking the first bite. Tempura was the same story. All this was $ 32. Do yourself a favor, go raid your neighbors trash can for free instead of ordering from this place… guaranteed to be about the same quality if not better!

Worst takeout I’ve had in San Francisco. I ordered the dinner combination with beef teriyaki and a spicy salmon roll. The spicy salmon roll was mediocre at best– it was barely holding together and was put in the same box as the beef so it was warm and not so pleasant. The beef teriyaki was really sweet and sticky. The soup was some weird vegetable soup. Gross. Never ordering from here again.

This is hands down the worst sushi delivery I have ever had. I have ordered from them twice now… I had hoped that they has just one bad run the first time so I gave them a second chance — never again! Both times my rolls were barely held together and soggy. I had also ordered ramen here once and when I finally received my LATE delivery it has spilled in the bag and all over the rest of my order. I called to complain and they said there was nothing they could do about it. That’s fine, there’s nothing I can do but give you an bad Unilocal review.

Review of delivery from Feng Shui Oyako Donburi(Chicken Donburi) This was beyond bland and what little flavor it did have was not very good. I tried just adding sauce but that could not even save it. I threw it away. Vegetable Tempura This was also very bland. Tempura is a very sensitive dish and the batter did not have the lightness one expects from tempura. Corn Soup This was your typical sweet corn soup. It was actually relatively nice. However, it was actually supposed to be a miso soup. Delivery was prompt, professional, and polite.

We ordered tofu and broccoli and vegetarian chicken in spicy sauce. The meals were decent, but not much better than what I would expect from a steam table at a take out restaurant. When we were seated, the server brought out two bowls of a clear broth vegetable soup. When he came back, I asked him if it was vegetarian, did it have chicken broth or anything in it? He said it was vegetarian. Then as I was asking about the chicken broth, he said, it’s vegetarian, it has fish broth. wtf. That is not vegetarian. So then he realized I meant *real* vegetarian. And he left the soup there until much later when I had to ask him to take it away. I made sure our entrees really were vegetarian. I give them 3 stars because they do have a decent number of vegetarian options. We ate here about a year ago and I thought I liked it, so I ignored the bad reviews, but when I came back, I remembered that it was only so-so. There are much better restaurants in SF. It almost seems like they are trying to do too many things with the Japanese and Chinese menus.(Jack of all, master of none?)
