F8 has the best music and drinks! Great prices, bartenders, staff and space. It’s just the right size for the right amount of people. Most of the time you have the option to sit at the bar and talk with your friends over a drink OR you can get down on the dancefloor which also gets really packed.
I can always count on having a fun night here on any day of the week :)

F8 — Good place to have a drink and a dance! The bar is separate from two other dance bars and it is literally a maze in there. There is also another room on the right which is a private (?) area for folks to sit and chill out?
It is not a sprawling place but there is just enough room to enjoy the DJ’s mixes — I personally liked one dance area more than the other one.
The bar tender was friendly, the crowd was cool and we had a swell time!

Everyone who works there is genuine about looking out for their visitors/​clients. Thank you, f8

Stamina Sundays is THE SF drum and bass weekly party, Housepitality on Wednesdays and revolving talent on the weekend.

Excellent dnb vibes on Sunday night. Bartenders are prompt and professional. Shoutout to the bouncer (Rob? ron?) for being the most patient person ever in sticky situations.

Too small… don’t go if you’re looking for a crazier atmosphere. Very mellow compared to a lot of places. Not worth the cover

Oh WHAT A disappointment
I was told we could go here on Tuesday to watch underground nomads. So husband and I made our way here at 8:45 PM. We were asked for $ 5 entry, i had read that entry was free before 9 and when I said that, they let us in for free! (I can’t imagine how they can charge cover for this place)
There were a total of 11 people inside the club… including the bar tenders
We had food at the bar which was good by the way (wings, mac n cheese) and we got ourselves some drinks. and we waited. and we waited. for over an hour. we asked about when the dance would start and they said soon.
we decided to get the hell out at 10 since def didn’t look like anyone was going to be performing.

We’ve enjoyed our time at the club, good drinks amazing music good times all around.

Love this place. No attitude, cool people, no pretentious folks. Always have a great time. Awesome music and sound. Great venue for house, techno, and other types of dance music!

Always have a good time here, but this time I did not. The rude, self entitled bar tender decided that a Shirley temple (a non alcoholic beverage) cost 3 dollars for every single one, not just the first one (how it is, at every bar) then when I’m trying to speak to my boyfriend about how irritated I was, he preceded to argue with me, not once, but four times. He continually argued and wouldn’t quit. I had to tell him I didn’t want to hear it.
Last time I will ever spend money at this bar.
Rude.
Unprofessional.
Great customer service.

I’ve lived here for nearly 4 years, I’ve been looking for people that are involved in the DNB/​Jungle music scene. I found a home here at this club night! Everyone here is having a great time! The drinks are priced appropriately and the sound feels like a warm bass blankie wrapped around you! I love the different assortment of people you get each week! People just in from outta town looking to have a good time! This is a great place to get your dance on!
Oh and the beautiful art on the walls! Simply amazing! This place is enchanted!

Took my Persian friend to Tuesday Belly Dancer night. So much build up to horrific disappointment they didn’t dance until 9:45 and they were 2 very short performances. More expressive dance than talented belly dancing. Unamazed after so much benefit of the doubt. I didn’t mind paying for the three of us and even gave a Lil extra to support what I thought was advertised, actual talent.
Put more practice, spirit and time in your performances that would warrant an extra tip, the nerve you have coming round with that bucket after that. I was so ready to praise and share everyone about the Underground Nomads but I don’t know now.
Upside is great food, which stop servong at the bar at 9! And moscow mules were dope. Just go to chat with friends cuz not much else going on here on Tuesdays.

The sound was awful — the wall-​to-​ceiling mirrors in the main room were rattling during the Omar-​S show, audible across the dance floor. Cmon, you know that there’s gonna be loud, bass heavy music being played in there…
Crowd tended younger, and distinctly ‘clubby’ — girls all dolled up and guys cruising real hard.

Disco inferno.
There is an amazing disco ball right above the dance floor. Larger in proportion to the club than most places and prone to captivating sparkles.
More hidden but just as important there is a fan off to one side. You’ll want to find it as the room gets hot and you get sweaty. Brilliant deep house will do that.
Add good cocktails, an attentive bar staff and a crowd there for the music and you have the makings for a great night out.

There’s a big emphasis on art here. Lots of art on the wall, live art displays, and handmade jewelry being sold.
Gogo dancers make you sweat and badass djs make you dance.
Minor gripe is that it’s tiny so it gets packed really quickly and gets very hot.
Don’t ask for bottle service because they don’t do that sh*t here. Get out of here and your uppity needs.

Great local resident djs like Lukeino and Jamal (of Bachelors of Science) plus an ongoing round of headliners/​dnb legends from the uk (and elsewhere)??! :D
a mostly awesome crowd who are just down to dance to dnb? yes.
the door guy/​bouncer is always friendly. never had problems with the bartenders. and the people who come out to Stamina are awesome. even when I’ve gone alone, there have never been guys who try to dance with me without permission and make me feel uncomfortable.
another cool thing: The person who runs the visuals. Crazy animé and animation films, old esoteric black&white films… sometimes hard to focus on the music when the visuals are so.interesting.
it can be at half capacity on some slow nights, but when there’s a well-​known headliner, it can get pretty packed and hot in there.

Bold claim: best happy hour in San Francisco. yes, I said it.
Now now, I know what you’re thinking… best is subjective… But my theory holds a lot of weight.
The rundown is such:
Time– 6 to 9. More like «happy night»
Specials: $ 3 beers, $ 3 wells. Got me feelin’ some type-​a-​way.
Most happy hours in the city are from 5 – 7, or 4 – 6 but nope, F8 has taken it a step further and pushed it to 9 with some of the best specials in the city.
For good measure, the $ 3 beers are your standard low ABV% brews: bud light, PBR, Heineken, corona, etc.
The beer snob in me brushed those off and went with a Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA for a whopping $ 4. This, my friends, is usually a $ 8 beer. My buddy ordered a chimay for $ 4 as well. Mind. Blown.
Aside from the drinks, the food menu (albeit simple) was great bar bites. fries, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, franks red hot wings (with an emphasis on the hot) and mac & cheese. We got a few items, which I guess was from next door, and was all great. The wings were $ 6 and the fries were $ 4… both healthy (not literally) servings.
Happy hour aside, the venue may be grimy and divey but it gets the job done. Great sound system, super nice bartenders and fun crowd. Last night we were there for the TrapSF Trappy Hour and it was a proper way to end the long work day shaking what my mama gave me. At night it can definitely get a little packed but everyone is on a mission to have a damn good time… mission accomplished.
Come in, save some dough, drink some great beers and shake your tail feather. You just can’t go wrong on any level.
