EQCA is a nonprofit that is doing a lot of good work, and unlike most nonprofits are taking very little as overhead.
This organization was there during the Prop 8 battle more than any other LGBT organization and the people that work there are the best!

I made a recurring donation to this group about two years ago, and have found that it is impossible to cancel — their phone number takes you to a maze of recorded menus and it’s impossible to get through to a real person, and they do not reply to emails or web inquiries.
Update — it took a while, but they did eventually get back to me and stopped the rebilling.
