I use Enterprise Carshare for two months already and so far I like their service. Because Enterprise just launched their service less than one year ago, all the cars are newer and better equipped than comparable zipcar. Zipcar offers has two vehicles in my apartment and lots of other option in my neighborhood. But all of them are luxury cars which costs 12 – 16 dollars per hour. The BMWX1 is more than 4 years old w/o Navi nor backup camera. The Cadillac ATS is well-equip but it is too tiny for my family. Enterprise offers family sedan at 7 dollar an hour. The Hyundai sonata comes with backup camera and Navi(through Android Auto). If you want something cheap, Enterprise has GM compacts at 5 dollars an hour. At this moment, Enterprise provides the best value to our family.

Terrible experience, this is the second time it happens. I’m unable to retrieve the car as their instructions is very clear but just doesn’t work. So I missed my meeting and my fun and I’m very mad. I recommend other car share services as their systems works better.

Beware I just recently reserved a vehicle with Enterprise Carshare and the whole experience was very frustrating. First of all the customer service over the phone was rude. On the day I went to pick up car it was very difficult to find there were no signs. I work in San Francico there are multiple carsharing companies. I was planning on crossing the Golden Gate that day so I asked the rep before reserving the car would there be additional charges for toll and he informed me that there would not be any charge. Enterprise Carshare have hidden fees.
