Gorgeous park, great dog area, sunshine, bbq areas and picnic tables, salt marsh, not a hint of traffic noise, mini kitchen and wifi? I love how no one knows about this PUBLICBUILDING. Shhhhhhhh.

I went to a conference at the EcoCenter — I left very inspired. The center is a great example of what community ingenuity can do! and that we can be so much more environmentally conscious in our day to day living. I will definitely be back! I want to shop at their native plant nursery for plants for my home — and plan to hold our staff retreat there this year. Thank you EcoCenter

I recently held my birthday party here on a Saturday afternoon with about 30 guests, and we had a great ol’ time! Good venue for meetings, small events/parties, fundraisers, workshops Features: — Off-the-grid building completely solar powered(have a green, carbon neutral party!) — Capacity(I think) is 52 — Two bathrooms — Open, bright main space — Wireless access — ADA Accessible — Large level patio that can be tented — AMAZING views of the bay on the sunny side of town — Walk right out into a city park with native plants and wildlife — PLENTY of parking — Dogs allowed in park on leash at all times — Cool living roof and only living machine/interior wetland cell in SF Things to consider: — No kitchen, so best if you bring in all your own food — Muni lines 19 and 44 get within a few blocks, and T-line stop is about ¾ of a mile but not near BART — Probably not good if you need a lot of electricity like say powering lots of high wattage equipment Contact the EcoCenter Project Manager at Literacy for Environmental Justice for a rental application Full disclosure: I used to work for this non-profit organization, so I admit total bias.
