Used Don for two projects now he is really a terrific guy!

We were going to structurally retrofit our three level building– we live on the top floor, with another condo in the second level and garage on the main. Don David was extremely professional and on time. I was able to obtain both the physical and a soft copy of the drawings for all three levels of the building. The work was done without issues from the city and was glad that he and my contractor have a great working relationship– comes in handy in the middle of a project if questions come up.
I highly recommend his work, especially after hearing that he was working on three projects on my block alone.

Don over at Double-​D engineering has restored my faith that you can find an honest, professional, and responsive structural engineer in San Francisco. I am working on a small renovation in my loft and while the project is simple, it doesn’t make it any less important to the city and the HOA that the designs are checked to confirm they are structurally sound and safe. Double-​D really came through where other engineering firms really came up short (see my other reviews of the good, bad, and ugly).
When I initially called Double-​D, Don returned the call within 24 hrs., he reviewed the plans within the time period he committed to, walked me through the plans and what was and was not needed, produced a quote within the time period and price range we discussed, etc., etc. He was knowledgeable, responsive, and executed. I would recommend Double-​D to any of my friends.
