Eat there nearly every day. The food is consistently good and service is GREAT. THANKS

Free chips and various salsa’s while you wash down street tacos with $ 2 Tecate beers on Fridays? Yes and yes! This casual neighborhood institution was recommended to me from a high-end furniture dealer who has tried all the restaurants in the furniture district, and knew the way to my wallet was to get me to stay in the area a little longer. So, I took a break to discover Dos Pinas and came back beyond satisfied … walking both out of Dos Pinas pleased with the flavors and textures packed into each taco, without being too full, and the furniture store with shipments ready to be delivered. Come here to taste the essence of the neighborhood, and try the STREETTACOS(carnitas!) and the BAJAFISHTACO!

This places food is good but gosh customer service is so bad… We walked in and the cashier who looked Hispanic didn’t not greet us at all… We looked at the menu then we asked in Spanish what was inside a special quesadilla they have in the menu and he just ignored us! Second try… we order our food and two coronas… coronas never made it to our table my be went to ask and he said he never charged the two coronas!!! Wtf… He sure makes the business look bad!!! I am so never coming back!!!

This place is awesome! Great food options and good quality! Went here a couple times for a quick after work dinner and they are fast and reliable every single time! Will definitely continue going here in the future.

I have been here a couple of times. The first time I was there I’ve gotten carne asada fries and it was no good. Trying to get quality carne asada around these parts is a bit difficult. So I stopped going for a really long time and it wasn’t until my coworker suggested something to me. My coworker was telling me about this life changing fish & chip burrito that I had to get. It’s the only thing I get there nowadays and crave it at least once a week(though I only spoil myself with it maybe once a month). It is honestly the best burrito I’ve ever had. I mean I’ve had pretty bomb burritos in the South Bay but this is one helluva burrito! It gets pretty crowded on M-F during lunch hours due to all the businesses around the area. I order ahead through the phone and pick up my order with no problem at all. If you have the time to spend definitely sit and enjoy. I personally enjoy the ambience but not the biggest fan of stool sitting. But overall 4⁄5 stars, not a fan of their red meat but their fish is to die for!

Their prices are reasonable and the food is good. Their California burrito is my favorite thing on the menu!

Fast service and tasty food. I had the Cali Style Burrito-which has fries in it — an interesting take on the usual burrito everywhere else. Décor is much better than most Mexican places in SF. Parking is also easy

This place is so close to our work and is a great bang for your buck. The burritos are huge and food coma inducing. In the winter, the chicken tortilla soup hits the spot. the broth is great and the ingredients are coursely chopped so it’s quite hearty. Will always be coming back!

If you are open for breakfast it shouldn’t look like you are stocking. I should have known better but whole foods was packed. 20 minutes later I finally had my 5 breakfast burritos. I guess you pay for waiting bc the price is cheap at $ 4. I will not be back for breakfast. I’ll come back for lunch but breakfast is off the list.

Came here on a Monday night around 6 and got my burrito quick literally 3 minutes :) Ordered an al pastor burrito. It was good and well sized, the only thing was some of the pinto beans had the texture of re fried beans. And my Guac was missing something, probably not enough lime. I would come back and try the carnitas or chicken burrito with black beans. The chile verde sauce is good too!

Street tacos on point. They do not skimp. Size conquers all ;) The portions of shrimp, tilapia and Carne asada with the freshness of cilantro and onions and fresh salsa. . Yes Yes Yes ! Do it.

I been coming here for over a decade, I remember when it was new, something like the Giants with Bonds and a world series. It’s always been great. I used to live not so far away and would hit happy hour on my way home from work. Now I work close by and can hit or on my lunch break. Even when it’s busy it never takes that long to order, eat and get back to work. I’ve also had catering from the company that runs the place. Not sure how many restaurants they have but they’re all good. It’s a great option. I love the street tacos and the burritos. One of my coworkers got the fish burrito in a bowl. It looked awesome. Going to have to try that next time. The one thing that bums me out is that they charge for chips, I feel like you should get some chips when you order food, not many places charge extra. They have good salsa, that almost makes up for it.

Loved the baja crispy fish burrito. I didn’t get beans. It was a big burrito with enough fish. I think this is a good Mexican restaurant. I was working nearby on Rhode Island and 16th.

I work nearby and come here for lunch often. This place is a convenient walk from most of the offices in the design district and they have a quick turn around time even when they’re crowded which is really great. The food quality is good and in general they have a nice variety of marinated chicken, pork and beef. The fish is also usually fresh. My standard order is the California burrito — this comes with French fries and guacamole inside and is a perfect meal when I’m really hungry. I usually get the pollo asado instead of the carne asada but that’s just me. The portions at this place are pretty big so even though it’s not cheap it’s totally worth the money. Some other dishes worth trying are the crispy fish tacos, the salad bowl or the nachos. The service is really great here — the staff is really friendly and are good to make sure everything is taken care of even when things get busy.

Was in the neighborhood at an appointment and hungry so stopped in here for lunch based upon a local business person’s recommendation. The reviews on Unilocal were mixed so I was a bit cautious. This restaurant is squarely average, I gave it three stars but it probably is 2.5. I had the Santa Fe Salad with Carne Asada. The vegetables were fresh but very low on the food nutrition level. The lettuce was iceberg, the carne asada not flavorful. My husband’s quesadillas were better than the salad. Here is the net net from my opinion. It is better than Taco Bell but nothing to go out of your way to try. It also was fairly expensive for the quality. I think my salad ended up over $ 10.

Great place– I love the outdoor seating. Tacos are great and decently priced, they don’t skimp on ingredients. The baja fish taco comes with a large amount of fish. Small but good selection of beer not overpriced. Tortilla soup is more tomato based than broth based and pretty spicy but perfectly so. Your lips might tingle but your mouth is not on fire. Salads are good too! Pretty much can’t go wrong here.

Found this spot randomly while in the City. Delicious food(I got the beer-battered fish). Cool ambiance. Fantastic customer service. The ladies(pretty Asian and a blonde with beautiful blue/green eyes) who were taking orders at the register were very polite and accommodating — way to go ladies. Because of you I will definitely be back, not to mention the food is CRAZY good! And parking is plentiful so no vying for a parking spot. Tucked away on a small side street, so if you don’t use Unilocal(which is what I did), you might miss out on experiencing the food at this amazing place. Worth more than 5 stars!

THEFISHANDCHIPSBURRITO + THEIRGREENSAUCE. OMG. It’s so goood. I bring ALL my friends here. Last time, my friend made the mistake of ordering a different burrito and he regretted it. Just go and order the fish and chips burrito and make sure you try their green sauce. You won’t regret it.

I haven’t been in ages back but it appeared looks they’ve gotten things under control as far as minimizing the wait times. Burritos were as tasty as I remember. They’re extremely underrated in my opinion.

Wow they Really raised their price on the steak burrito and not so encouraging to come back $ 11.50 for the burrito and a can of soda? I’ve been coming here since they opened it, but I’m not a regular any more, why not support a local business once every other week. Their burrito is so small lately and so plain on the dry side and not so delicious as it used to be. I used to enjoy my steak burrito from Dos Piña… but I must say their salsa is pure good and the two stars goes to the salsa.

Mexican food craving + Mission Bay area = Dos Pinas This is my go-to place when I’m in the area and want Mexican food. Two of their dishes that I’m a fan of are their Carne Asada fries and their burrito plates(which I prefer since they’re less messy). I don’t know what they do to their tortillas, but they’re sooooo good! Also their green salsa sauce is great! They have TV screens and booze, so this will probably be a great place for a sports game although I haven’t experienced it yet.

Oh Mojado Burrito, I love your dirty dirty face so much! Veggie burrito, mojado’ed that B and made it mine prison style for $ 10 — big as my forearm! A freshly made super burrito, covered in hot enchilada sauce and melted cheese, with a fat dollop of sour cream and another sexy dollop of guac is my idea of a good time.
