Still keep coming back. Yes. Truly fresh squeezed OJ. NOT from a store ought jug. And yes. I will order just a side of potatoes. That good.

I really wasn’t very impressed by this place. I don’t go to Noe Valley very often and wonder if the high ratings are just from slim brunch pickings around here. THEWAIT: None around 3pm on a Saturday. Only a couple other diners. THESERVICE: Nice guys at the counter, food came out quickly. THECOST: $ 15.10 including tax/tip for my scramble. THEFOOD(see my pics as well!): * Smoked salmon scramble — 2.5 stars Foursquare users and Unilocalers alike raved about this, so I had a to get it .The salmon was meh, did not taste smoked. I ate a forkful of what I thought was egg white and turned out to be a chunk of cream cheese. There were several of these big chunks, not mixed in at all. The salad and toast weren’t too memorable.

We came here because a nearby breakfast place was packed and oh boy, I’m glad we did! This place is awesome. Great service, AMAZING orange juice as well as amazing food. I ordered the Country Breakfast and it was delicious!

Needed a fast place to grab a bagel sandwich and was overwhelmed by the awesome breakfast options. The food was great! Staff is excellent too.

Diamond Café is the best in the area for breakfast/brunch. Instead of waiting in line for overrated and expensive food and crappy service, you can get great food and great service for a reasonable price. Avoid the lines, and go to be served by Mike.

Great neighborhood spot right on Diamond. Tried two basic things Pancake breakfast with eggs and bacon: pancakes were kind of dry. Croissant french toast with chicken apple sausage and eggs: french toast was great, but man, croissant french toasts?! YES. Love it. The chicken apple sausage was great too. The egg whites I got were kind of mangled. So all in all, I’d try something like this again even though this one was a little odd. Pastries from City Baking(?) in the case in front. Looks tasty and will go back and try more. Takes credit cards. I have hopes of trying other stuff but for now I’ll give it 3 stars. Street parking.

It’s a good breakfast spot, but not more than 3 stars worth. The lemon water taste like it’s been left out for days. The food was good, but not amazing. The man working was wonderful though! Very friendly and attentive.

Mike and Gabby are so attentive. Great place to stop in and grab lunch or meet with friends or colleagues for tea. I can sit outside and enjoy the nice weather. Great crepes, omeletes, really everything is good!

I have recently moved to the Bay Area and noticed that this place had 4.5 stars and now am not completely sure why. My mom and I ordered two different crepes, the Hawaiian and the Florentine. Both were subpar for what I was expecting. I could have whipped them up in my own kitchen for much less. The indoor seating was also ridiculously hot, so we opted to sit outside. After my lunch, I had a bad stomach ache too. Maybe his place is just a better stop for breakfast?

My 2ndFIVE star rating in less than 24 hours. Karma? This one is overdue. I stumbled upon DC in my new neighborhood when I was looking for a good cup of coffee before heading to the office. I paid 2 dollars and change and walked over to the self serve coffee counter to find Big Mike Blend. This was a good start. A friend and his family have called me Big Mike for years & this coffee reminds me of the amazing friendships I have. The coffee itself was quite good — not amazing but delicious enough to become a semi-regular cup. The owners name is also Mike, that’s a winner in my books. :) And here I thought the coffee was named after me?! Lol. I’ve had breakfast here 3 times and the food does not disappoint. Food quality is excellent. Staff is attentive and Mike is very personable. He understands customer service and his staff also follows his lead. The clientele flows in and out and everyone that I’ve seen here before has a similar appreciative look on their faces. Everyone gets more than a cup of coffee or meal, they walk away with some of Mike’s positive energy. Can’t buy that and you get it by simply being around it. Lastly, the meal won’t break the bank and if there’s a line, it moves quickly. Stop in and check it out yourself! Across the street from both a 35&48 Muni stop.

Had breakfast here. It was good but I was expecting more from 4.5 star average reviews. I had a coffee drink and a breakfast croissant with potatoes. The potatoes were well done and a bit on the dry side. It was small inside but not crowded because there are signs saying no wife and not to use laptops or stay more than an hour. I can see why they’d say that but it felt unwelcoming and I didn’t have a laptop and was just making a pit stop to refuel.

Diamond Café is a gem… literally. It’s a cute little café on the corner with friendly staff and delectable offerings, including sweet and savory crepes and an eclectic collection of bagels, eggs, sandwiches, etc. My hubby ordered the triple diamond: eggs, pancakes, and bacon. The eggs were perfectly over-easy, the bacon was crunchy, salty goodness, and the pancakes were fluffy and yummy. I had the breakfast burrito and loved it. It was different than any breakfast burrito I’ve ever had, and trust me, I’ve tried a lot of them! It was filled with eggs, bacon, green onions, and cheese, and swimming in a pool of tasty homemade chili. And don’t miss out on the organic fair-trade house coffee and fresh-squeezed OJ – both awesome.

Brought our dog to Douglass Park which is one of our favorite dog parks. Stopped by Diamond Café for lunch. Grateful for their outside tables, each is small but adequate for 2 people and a small or medium dog. Food is tasty, medium-sized portions, a bit overpriced but not for this hood I guess. We ordered: Veggie Scramble w/salad & English muffin Heuvo Rancheros(gluten-free) Each is $ 9.75 Oatmeal cookie good, $ 2.25

I think that the Diamond Café is a cute little gem in Noe Valley. I wouldn’t have discovered this place if my job wasn’t next door. The place is not that big but there are seats inside & outside. I go to this place every week in the morning before work & the workers there are super friendly. He even remembered my daily order lol + he greets everyone. I always get a tea & a bagel, all for $ 5. It’s good quality and nicely prepared. Sometimes I’ll get a mocha, which is good too or a lox bagel, or a pastry. Their almond croissant is . It’s one of my faves, as well as their chocolate croissant. They are full of flavor, as well as buttery and flakey. I have yet to try their more savory dishes like their crepes, scrambles or sandwiches. My bosses and co-workers seem to like them though. If you’re ever in the neighborhood and want a coffee fix or a meal, stop by!

Nice little spot in Noe. I had eggs benedict and my friend had a veggie scramble. I chose a side of fruit salad which was ok and the benedicts were just ok. The hollandaise wasn’t too flavorful but all in all it complemented well the eggs. I would have liked a tastier and crispier English muffin but it wasn’t bad overall. I loved sitting outside :)

Went for brunch with my best friend here this morning. Can I just say, delicious! I understand why it has such good ratings. This is a very small cute café with probably about 10 tables inside and 4 outside. They have pastries right at the front for you to see, quite a few things jumped out on the menu at me and sounded yummy. I got the Croissant Sandwich and my friend got the lox bagel. This croissant was the fluffiest and tastiest I’ve ever had and they scrambled ham, egg, and cheese together inside of the croissant. Came with some fresh fruit which was a perfect end to the breakfast. My friend kept raving about the salmon on the lox bagel talking about how fresh it had to have been for it to taste that amazing. The Orange Juice definitely shouldn’t be missed because they fresh squeeze it each day and it has heavy pulp, and has beautiful flavor. There was just one gentleman at the counter taking orders and making drinks while tending to the customers sitting down. And others in the back making the food I believe. Extremely polite, talked with us for a bit about what was really tasty and worth trying. The outside tables are perfect right around noon because the sun is shining right down the road perfectly so you stay warm and get a breeze. Definitely worth stopping and checking out.

Well, I had baby number 2. And between the last months of pregnancy and now her first 3 months of life. I have visited Diamond Café more than a handful of times. Mochas are awesome, and there always seems to be butter croissants when I want one for my older daughter– even when I’m buying the last one. I have had the NY coffee cake twice now– wow. Not too sweet, with big delicious chunks of crumble topping. Mohamed, the owner, is always friendly, asks how the family is, or says hello to my sometimes shy 3 year old when she’s with me. Very pleased they are in my neighborhood. I still need to try the breakfast plates.

While we’ve only had takeout thus far, everything I’ve had from DC has been tasty and Mohammad is a warm host. I recommend the savory crepes whole-heartedly, but if you’re not in the mood for extra carbs they are all available as scrambles. Perfect neighborhood breakfast spot!

Came here for breakfast after the great reviews I saw on Unilocal! This was located in a quaint(but definitely hilly) part of town. When we walked in, I liked how comfortable the environment was. It was definitely a good brunch joint, with a coffee shop vibe. The man behind the register was very friendly and recommended a few items when we asked. But I already had my mind set on the Smoked Salmon Scramble after reading the comments on Unilocal! When the salmon scramble came, it didn’t look as nice as other scrambles I’ve had, but it did taste good. I personally love smoked salmon, and it was great in the scramble. I also loved how they added cream cheese in it! However, I thought that it wasn’t as amazing as all the other Unilocalers said it was. I actually liked my friend’s Breakfast Burrito. I really liked the bed of beans the burrito was on, and I just really liked all the flavors. The beans didn’t taste canned, so that may be why. Even though I only had a bite of the Breakfast Burrito, but I definitely liked it more than the Smoked Salmon scramble. Overall, I really liked this place! I think as good as the Smoked Salmon was, I was kind of tired of it at the end. I highly recommend the Breakfast Burrito and I would probably get that if I came here again. Again, the man was pretty friendly and even came over to stabilize the table by slipping something under it, even though we didn’t say anything. Good service, good food, a great place to relax and enjoy a peaceful breakfast/brunch. :)

An absolutely adorable corner diner that embraces the very image of an SF hillside smalltown local hotspot. If I lived down the street, I would come here every morning for coffee/breakfast and read a book or browse the internet like an urban hipster. I had the salmon scrambler with lemon cucumber water(free), both unique in its own right. Scrambler includes cream cheese and smoked salmon made with egg and comes with a couple breakfast sides of your choice. Portions will leave you satisfied but not bloated. Owner is a sweet man and just what you expect from a local mom and pop.
