I have now had my hair styled by Dae twice now. Once when she was still a student of Paul Mitchel and now just recently about three weeks ago. Both experiences were more than satisfactory! The first time she styled my hair, she did a cut and full color/highlight– dark brown all over color with red highlights, and it looked professionally done, vibrant and healthy, and I was very happy with the finished look. Since then I have had a short A-line cut and have been growing it out some time. So this time Dae styled my hair, she did a trim and all over color with an hombre(sp?). My hair had a lot of red in it so the hombre came out a bit orange. Dae, knowing that I had hoped for a more honey blond color at my ends, immediately offered to redo it, free of charge. She went the very next day to pick up the product she needed and came over that next night. She was very thorough and patient, and staying late managed to complete my style that night, which was important to me as I was going on several business trips the next day. She even threw in a free oil applicant for my hair, as we had done a bit of processing to my hair at this point. Dae is fun, friendly, creative, upbeat, and willing to put in work to make you happy. She can make any kind of environment work, as she did a house call both the times she has done my hair. But I am happy to hear that she is newly employed at Edo Salon on Haight in San Francisco, and I am very excited for her future success there! For Dae to have her own permanent work space means she has the world at her fingertips and limitless potential to style your hair! She truly believes in styling hair in a realistic and healthy way that makes for much easier maintenance for her clients. I would highly recommend Dae for a cut, a color, a highlight, a style, a special occasion up-do, or even a good old fashion hair washing/blow dry! Either way, you will enjoy the time you spend with this energetic little lady, guaranteed :).

I had my hair cut and styled by Dae when she was a student at the Paul Mitchell School. I was a bit nervous because students perform the services with supervision of «Learning Leaders». My hair at the time was long, with no shape and badly needed a style update. Additionally, I have wavy hair with several hard to deal with cowlicks that make styling nightmarish at times. The quality of the cut and style I got from Dae was fantastic. I was actually quite shocked that a student could have such great insight and innate talent. It was the best haircut I’d had in 10 years at least. I haven’t seen Dae in a couple of years but I’ve followed her career in Southern California. It’s clear she’s gaining in experience and will be giving the big dogs a run for their money. If you’re looking for a great cut, give Dae a try — you won’t be disappointed.
