I had the fortune of meeting most of the artists present at the time. «Welcoming» would be an understatement — one artist basically appointed himself as my tour guide and introduced me to everyone else. Some artists waved me over for show & tell of their work. It honestly felt like less of a classroom and more like a family reunion, despite never having met any of them before. The atmosphere was so mellow and pure #staygoldponyboy; artists here have true expressive freedom and amazing talent. NOTE: In contrast with the Mission location, this is primarily a workshop and not a gallery. I didn’t ask, but I elected not to take photos; much of the work is in-progress or otherwise not(yet) intended for the public. R-e-s-p-e-c-t.
