Not only is the pizza exceptionally tasty but the service is top-notch and they sure make me feel special calling me «the queen» hence, my name. Fresh ingredients and thin crust is why I LOVE their pizzas. Their wholesome and delicious pizza keeps bringing me back! Grab your veggies and fruits at the Alemany Farmers Market but don’t forget to add Copper Top pizza to your list!

Looove this place. Thanks to Joe and his team, I routinely have pizza for breakfast on Saturdays. The husband and I share a pizza topped with pepperoni, mushroom, garlic and spinach when we need a bit of energy to push back on all the pushy Asian grandmas at the Alemany Farmer’s Market. Pizza is thin crusted and delicious. Comes out piping hot because it’s all prepared to order.

We frequent the Alemany farmers market every couple weeks and love grabbing a pie to munch on. More recently, we catered them for my 1 year old’s birthday. It was an amazing experience for all those involved. They showed up early, setup and started cooking pies quickly but with great attention to detail. The guests simply LOVED the pizzas! Thank you Tom and team for an excellent catering event!

I love the Alemany farmers market for the diversity of vendors. No matter how cold or how windy the pizza guys are always out here. Seriously there’s nothing better than a nice warm pizza on a cold morning. take my word for it. The pizza is perfect to share, just the right size. The specials look amazing but this time I had a simple pepperoni and mushroom. The crust is thin and crispy all the way across.

I used these guys at my June wedding during cocktail hour. Everyone ranted and raved how good it was. Unfortunately, as the bride, I was to busy to have any but I hope to visit them soon at a farmers market!

Friendly upbeat service. The pizza was alright. We got the prosciutto/ham with egg(I didn’t really taste the egg). It’s $ 7/half size pizza. You wait 5 – 10 minutes and you get to eat a pizza in the morning at a Farmer’s market.

lots of parking, well if you get here at a certain time LOL. this place is really authentic pizza. really HOT oven, and the dough is very very thin. great sauce! i ordered a sausage. i also ordered mushroom. its kind of small but its SOFRESH and its in the oven for like 10 minutes at such a HIGHHEAT. if you’re here at the farmers market, its worth trying ATLEASTONCE to see what the big deal is about. THAT’s if you WANTAUTHENTIC. I LOVEIT.

Copper top ovens made pizza on site from a mini brick-fired oven. locale: JLS(7⁄1) eats: ‘4 blend cheese with procuito and mushroom toppings(10) –pizza tasted mostly of one cheese and salty. toppings not noticeable, just crunch. doughy-slight burn on edges. –pizza missing something, not totally wowed. foodnotes: –very friendly service. –made in 8 minutes.

Thin crust and piping hot from the oven, this pizza is worth a trip to the Alemany Farmers market. Half a pizza for $ 6 was a great breakfast for the two of us accompanied by live music.

Yuuuuuuuum! A few weeks ago I got to the Alemany farmers market around 7:30 am. I was hungry, saw that pizza oven and made a b-line. They were still setting up but let me get my order in for a prosciutto and egg pizza. Ham, egg, bread and cheese — breakfast! I ordered a half and tried to save some my husb at home but couldn’t do it. Too yum. The magic is the super thin crispy crust tickled with toasty char bits from the super hot oven and basil scented sauce. Last week we went back and ate another pie, this time pepperoni and mushroom. My awesome husb suggested we get another one to go, so we did. I’m a lucky woman.

Quick possible the best pizza I have ever had, brick-n-mortar, food cart or Farmer’s market. Yes, you heard right. Located on the entrance side of the Alemany Farmer’s market this place is our reward for a day well-shopped. After gathering our week’s veggies, we reward ourselves with a pie with prosciutto and egg drizzle. Thin crust and about 8 minutes in prep time, this hot delight is the perfect end to a Farmer’s market outing. I know that it seems hard to believe that there could be pizza this good in this context, but they have worked on the recipes for a while, built an amazing oven and basically let the pie sell itself. You will not be disappointed.

Best pizza ever! I work in Walnut Creek and drive over Todos Santos farmers market every Tuesday for this decadence. The crust is thin, sauce unique, and toppings great! What more can I say? Tom and Grahame are great and their customer service is top notch!

There is nothing like wood fired cooking” pizza, breads, meats… the list is as long as your imagination. I want one of these fine ovens in my backyard. I want my neighbors to drool.

Ok, so I am still loving the pizza. I am a recent vegan and CTO is now offering vegan cheese… They did the research to ensure that they did not get a vegetarian cheese that included animal products(not sure why they even name it veg cheese!). Their dedication to customer service is AWESOME. On top of that, I again LOVE the bubbly crispy flavorful pizza. Thanks Tom and Graham!

The guys from Copper Top catered a party at our home, and did a terrific job. Great pizza and impeccable service with a smile. Ingredients were all top-notch, and Tom’s unique mobile pizza oven was a real hit with our guests. He customized the menu based on our preferences. Since we had a smaller group, he made each pizza«to order» so everyone got exactly what they wanted. They arrived early, were ready to go when the party started, and couldn’t have been nicer throughout. It was a big hit with all of our guests.

We met Tom yesterday at the Jack London Square Farmer’s Market, and we were mesmerized by his cool mobile wood-fired pizza oven. He is able to get the temperature above 700 degrees, at which point a pizza can cook in about 3 minutes. After watching him work and chatting with him, we had to try one. We had the market special, which had a delicious base of mascarpone cheese, slightly flavored with honey. It’s topped with walnuts, prosciutto, mozzarella and blue cheese. It was fabulous! The crust was a perfect thickness to hold the ingredients. As much as I love thin crusts, sometimes they aren’t substantial enough to hold their toppings. Tom also caters parties and events. He seems to really love the art of pizza-making. I would go back any day! For $ 10, this is a great bargain. The quality and taste couldn’t be better!

Copper Top Ovens is a new food stand that started a few months ago, at the Alemany Farmers Market on Saturdays(8am-3pm). CTO uses a VERY cool custom-made mobile pizza oven on wheels. I have reviewed a similar custom-mobile-oven street pizza vendor(Pizza Hacker) before. In comparison, both make personal size pizzas cooked at over +700 degrees. PH uses a sourdough medium crust that cooks in about 2 minutes, while CTO uses an EXTRA-thin crust that is ready in under 2 minutes(with blisters, and crisp edges like a cracker, but still chewy). PH’s crust is more substantial, but I like both styles of pizza. Prices: $ 10 each, $ 6 for half pizza. Includes choice of 2 toppings($ 1 for each additional): prosciutto, pepperoni, olives, mushrooms, spinach, artichokes, and roasted garlic. There’s usually a «Market Special» pizza of the day, with toppings mostly from the farmers market. I got a pesto, feta, and heirloom tomatoes. (notice the super thin tomato slices) Pros: the price is affordable, and I like the half pizza option. Cons: the number of toppings available is limited, and sliced very thinly. So overall it’s more like a snack, which is fine for me. Drinks: sodas & water $ 1, Italian sodas(San Pellegrino) $ 1.50 Cash only.
