I have been waiting for a call from this stablishment for almost two weeks now and when I finally decided to try and go to the location which was provided through Unilocal it took me to a chicken restaurant where after sitting for a while trying to figure out what’s going on and Unilocal not being any help I go to leave and almost gets robbed at gunpoint. Not the type of place I whatever try and look for and all I was trying to do was get my console fixed and almost wound up getting killed for it

I left messages on the Console Sage phone and no one responded. The web site is down, and there are no updates here or on Facebook page since 2013. There’s a public conversation on FB from March 2014 «I’m in the process of transferring control of Console Sage to someone else…» So, ??!
I went to Mobile Tech Solutions for PS3 repair instead.

Ian (the owner/​repair person) used to be the tech person at the now defunct Game Alley. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that he has opened his own console repair business in Pleasanton. I had the E74 error on my Xbox 360 and he explained to me why that problem he doesn’t fix (basically it will break again in a short period of time). In turn he offered to sell me a refurbished unit for $ 50.00 and he would also warranty it as well. This was a better savings and less hassle than packing up the unit and sending it to Microsoft for $ 100.00 plus shipping and handling. Unit works great and I happy that he helped me out.

I just had the best experience and Ian was more then helpful. Felt he was very honest, upfront and helpful I took my 360 and actually showed me the condition it was in with the possibility throwing money into it just so it could break down again. I ended up swapping and buying a refurbished one he had available. Brought it home and BAM. One happy ass customer so much that im having him fix my galaxy s III screen soon and now I know where to go and highly recomend him.

Ian is excellent.
I called in and dropped off my Xbox 360 to get the DVD drive replaced. The prices are extremely reasonable, and he provides a service that’s essential to anyone who’s looking to extend the life of their console (rather than buy a new PS3 or Xbox 360 when the next generation is right around the corner).
I’m recommending Ian to any of my friends who have console problems. A problem that could have kept my Xbox for 3 – 5 days was done in under 24 hours. He even let me pay via paypal, which was great!
