I have been going to Connie for all my haircuts for the last 10 years, first at Church St and now on Mission. I’ve never been one for fancy haircut places or styles. Connie has always provided me with a reliable, good looking haircut. Connie is part of the local flair of the mission, and has become a friend. Everyone I have recommended to Connie has commented that she did a good job and was a great value, and cool person. I agree… I am still going to Connie to clean up my shaved head as I am basically bald.

I have been cutting my hair to her more than a year now. I enjoy going there and seeing her regularly instead of going high end place and paying lots of money. She is really sweet and flexible on her time.

I recently got my hair done by Connie and she did an amazing job! I really didn’t know exactly what I wanted to get done, but she gave me a lot of ideas one of which I ended up going with. She bleached and colored my hair, which is a process but she made it fun. She’s really friendly and knows exactly what she’s doing. She also gave me a much needed trim! I’ve been recommending Connie to all my friends and I definitely plan on going back see her.

Connie turns out a solid cut (nice layering, bye-​bye split ends) at a very reasonable price. I’ve been going to her off and on all my long-​haired life. She does a great job of washing and conditioning if you so request, but usually I’m just coming from the shower. Just tell her what you want and she’ll take care of you!

Simply put: This is a great place to get your haircut. I first came here when I was a little boy. When I got older I thought that I would spend more somewhere else and get a better cut (think 24th street.) But then I realized that I was wasting my money. Connie not only does a great job, but she is affordable. She is lively, and she will be the only one that will ever cut your hair.

I had long hair for years, and I just got a short cut that is asymetrical. It looks so edgy and sleek, thanks to Connie. She really helped get through this risky process. I get compliments left and right and I just can’t be any happier. Yeah for Connie again !

I hate to write this review since Connie is so sweet but I have to keep it real. Lets just say that I look like I fell asleep in the backyard and a lawn mower ran over my head. I have never used a flobee but I’m assuming this is how my hair would look like if I used it. I look like my mother gave me a haircut.

First time in my life that I got a hair cut without the wash & style. To be honest, my haircut sucked but I didnt have the heart to tell sweet Connie that i hated it. Instead I gave her a tip and told her I’d see her soon (though not the case). Perfect for men or kids. Ladies loosen the purse strings and head over to a nice salon in Noe Valley.

I just went after reading reviews here. I love my haircut! You definitely need to know what you want – she’s not going to tell you what you should do. I called this morning & she said, come on in. I went & she took care of me right away. I have thick, wavy long hair. I wanted long layers, she gave me long layers. After one round of cutting, she pulled out the mirror & asked me if it was ok. She suggested I go a little shorter around the crown; I agreed. She didn’t wash my hair or blow it dry. That’s fine by me; I usually end up wetting it & re-​styling when I get home anyway. Thanks Connie!

Wow, you guys were right. Connie is so sweet, and if you know exactly how you want your hair cut, she does a great job. I went from long layers to a long bob, and I love it.
Connie is not for you if you are into being pampered in an expensive salon, but if you want a great look for less than $ 20, you can’t lose.

Strictly cash. Only small business owners take I.O.U.‘s… (I had to run to the ATM) Connie was very friendly and she lived up to the hype. I came in with a surfer look and came out with a business cut. Nothing flashy about the place, but she offers good service for a great price: $ 14

I went to Connie’s based on the other reviewer’s comments. Twenty minutes and only $ 15 later, I came out with a good haircut and a smile to boot. I took the other reviewer’s advice and told Connie exactly what I wanted, and she seemed to work well with that.
She’s been working in her shop for 24 years and gives off a really nice, down-​to-​earth vibe. Don’t let her pink hair or funky storefront throw you off… she’s a diamond in the rough.
One additional note: Connie is definitely not your high-​end salon. She’s more like an alternative to Super Cuts. Same price. Better service.

I [heart] Connie. She helped me grow out a pixie cut in style and at $ 15 a cut, even if she shaved my head, I wouldn’t complain. You do have to be clear about what you want — we had a little misunderstanding once and she did something else, but it still looked great. I just can’t ever get there anymore because I work weird hours. It’s totally no-​frills and Connie’s personal style is kind of out there, but she gives a great cut. I love the guy I go to now, but really, he’s $ 60 more. I saw a woman in Bi-​Rite and loved her hair and asked where she got it done — that’s how I found Connie.
