The organization is absolutely wonderful! It is open Monday 3:30 — 6:00pm, Wednesday 10:00 — 12:00, Thursday 3:30 — 6:00pm, and the first Saturday of every month from 10:00 — 1:00pm. When I was there on a Saturday(super crowded though), the people in charge explained to us that there is no limit on how many books you take but they do want you to write down the number of books you took. They need to keep count for their grant. That’s about it. Also, the books were SOWELL organized(elementary, middle, high, picture books, resource books, big books, encyclopedias, etc) and it seriously was an amazing experience. I looked around, and every person there had a huge smile on their face. I mean, why not? They are FREE books. In addition to that, they actually continue to refill their boxes of books so that you have a wider selection. Few things to recommend before going: –Clear out your trunk because you will need that space –Bring lots of boxes so you can make frequent trips to-and-from your car –Some sort of dolley so you’re not hauling heavy boxes –Gloves in case of dust? –A friend so they can help you search for books you like It’s a definite must for any teachers or anybody who works with kids!
