Great food and value and the staff was very attentive. The Veal Parmesan and Fettuccine Alfredo were great.

Cesarios was very close to my hotel room, so the location was vefy convenient. I ordered the calamari as my main dish, knowing I would not be too hungry after that, and then had the Tiramisu as my dessert. Both were equally as tasty. The calamari was fried and crunchy, the sauce was more of a neutral tomato based sauce. I regret not ordering a pasta as well, I think it would have been great. The tiramisu was so fluffy and a huge size, so I was impressed. My only pet peeve is that they put it on a strawberry filling which I don’t think goes well with a tiramisu, but it’s small enough to look past.

Great food and location. Service was excellent also. After a long flight from the east coast it was close to the JW and hit the spot. Portions were large also which is hard to find in San Fran.

This place happened to be down the street from where we were staying. After having a long day of travel, we wanted to stay near by and after looking for something close by, this popped up. We were seated right away since we had made reservations on Opentable. The staff was very polite and attentive We ordered the Herbed Garlic and Parmesan Bread to start– it was very very good. We order the Butternut Squash Gnocchi and the Capellini Pomodoro. Everything was very simple but still made very well. We ordered the Spumoni Gelato and that was well worth it. We enjoyed the quaint little place, service, and food overall. A great option that was close by.

It’s no Olive Garden, but Cesario’s is my favorite low drama, family friendly restaurant at the intersection of Mason and Sutter. The down to earth staff and classic Italian flare are noteworthy. Unfortunately I recently stopped by around 3am to find a lack of late night options and the absence of a functioning drive thru. See photo titled«No Drive Thru» for more evidence.

Food was mediocre at best, service was far below par. Servers have selective hearing(especially the manager). Make sure make them repeat your order back to you multiple times, or else you may end up not getting everything you ordered in a timely manner. Come here as a last resort.

A solid 2. The food is mediocre and expensive. Best part of the meal was the bread with pesto olive oil. For a cute little restaurant, in fun location one would think the food would be better. I wouldnt recommend this place. There’s plenty more just a mile down the road!

Food was mehhhh. Ordered NY steak, medium well and it was pretty when it came out but the steak was medium rare or something, and it was cold already. Sad!!! My dad ordered well done, it came out medium. No flavor in the Demi glaze. Basil with olive oil for bread dipping was mehh also, it could use some salt.(I’m not the type to like salty things either). Oh yeah bread was a burned too. Like literally it was bitter. I didn’t ask how everyone else’s food. But no one finished their meal. So yeah I guess there you go. Friendly staff though! The place is small and cozy. Loved the atmosphere. Maybe I should’ve gotten pasta. Uhhh the regrets.

Great food, especially for a place that delivers! I got the pear salad and the veal marsala. The pear salad came with mixed greens, pear slices, carmelized walnuts, blue cheese, and a champagne vinaigrette, and was absolutely amazing! I would come back just for the salad. The veal marsala was also pretty good, and comes with a choice of mashed potatoes, risotto, or polenta.

Reasonable price(20 – 25 a place), nice location and has a relaxing vibe. The servers are attentive and on it when it comes to ordering, refills, etc. I’m not big on Italian food but this place is great. Olive Garden who? I’ll take Cesarios instead!

I live close to this place and I was too busy so I decided to order delivery. I ordered Linguine with Clams and Linguinie with Porchetta. For two VERYSMALL entrees, it costs 45 dollars. YES, forty five FREAKING dollars. Was it good? NO.

I really liked this place. The food was delicious. We were lucky enough to get a window booth. The owner was very sweet and friendly. The wait staff was a little cold, but it didn’t ruin our dinner. They were just doing their job, nothing more, nothing less. The interior tables seemed a bit cramped, so I was relieved. We made reservations for 8PM on a Monday night and they were slammed. We started with the calamari and it was good. It was what we expected. Good, but nothing to knock my socks off. It was the same calamari you’d get anywhere. We also shared the pear salad and it was DELICIOUS! I highly recommend it. Our main courses were really good too. I had veal and my husband had fettuccine. It was more than enough food. Then we had dessert. Any decent Italian restaurant has to have a good cannoli and this was no exception. It was exceptional. We left extremely full of amazing food. The service could have been a touch friendlier, but overall, it was a good experience.

Best penne Bolognese since I fell in love with it in Florence. Biz colleague had the eggplant parm. Pear and walnut salad to start made it perfect. Window booth on the street added to the charm of the cozy little delight. Would return in a heartbeat.

Good food. Could have been great, but was under-seasoned. Fresh ingredients. Calamari appetizer was the highlight and was fantastic! Excellent service. Good wine list. Nice ambiance. If the flavors were kicked up a notch, I’d go 4 stars. Until then, it’s A-OK.

This restaurant was on the list of suggestions and a 10% discount from our hotel. We were hungry and in the mood for pasta so decided to try it out. It was before 5PM when we arrived to find an empty restaurant which was great to receive attentive service and wait for food wasn’t too long. The restaurant has tables around the outer perimeter which provides viewing of the activities in the street and a few tables within. The menu has a good selection of pastas and entrees, and we all ordered from the specials of the day menu. Instead of cream sauce, I ordered the lobster ravioli and prawns with marinara sauce. The prefer a little lighter sauce but it still tasted good with the ravioli. Each ravioli was filled with lobster and there were 2 large prawns so definitely felt I got my money’s worth. I also appreciated the bread and butter that was received with our meal. Our server refilled our waters, and brought us more bread. Good hearty meal to enjoy before walking through the streets of San Francisco.

We didn’t eat lunch so stopped at this place for some pasta since we wanted something more filling. On the«specials for the day» menu there was a lobster ravioli for $ 20 and lamb shank for $ 21. They gave us fresh, warm sliced bread with a slightly sweet butter. It was delicious! The lamb shank was quite large and the meat was very tender and tasty. It came with carrots, zuchini and mashed potatos. Well worth the money. The rest of us had the lobster ravioli which came in a Asiago cream sauce. One of us ordered it with a marinara sauce which was also good. Each plate had five ravioli but filled with lots of lobster. We were full at the end of our meal. I would recommend this restaurant although we didn’t even notice what was on the regular menu!

I had the salmon picatta. It was very good! The salmon was tender and the vegetables were soft. I also received bread and butter for free. My friend got chicken parmesiana and she said it was good. The service was very good. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a polite gentleman that seated us right away. The place was empty, but it was 2 in the afternoon. I thought the place was ok. I would recommend this place to people who like ok Italian food

A simple but amazing late lunch. The ham and cheese panini was great! The avocado slices were fresh as was the focaccia bread. The hand sliced fries were just right with the perfect amount of crispness. I had a Peroni beer with this that went very well. I finished off with a nice hot cup of coffee. Very reasonable prices and good service. The atmosphere was great with early 40s Frank Sinatra as a lunch companion over the speakers!

We were suppose to have dinner at a different restaurant but they were packed. My bf suggested we walk a block and see what’s around. He randomly picked Cesarios Fine Dining. He said we should just go in since they didn’t look busy at the time. Looking from outside, I saw a few old people and 1 young couple. I looked Cesarios on Unilocal and I wondered why it only had 3 stars in total. I was shy/hesitant to go in because it looked high class but I thought just give it a try. We walked in and immediately an elderly mannered man greeted us happily and sat us down. I was very pleased. One of the waitress who didn’t seem to know much English smiled happily and asked if we wanted water. Anyway getting to the point, our waitress was very nice and friendly but it seemed like she didn’t know much about the appetizers and entrees. I asked her what was their popular appetizer and she told me the bruschetta. I asked more about it because I really didn’t know but she didn’t really explain. I asked her about the clams and she told me it was really good. I just went with my instincts and I ordered the clams. My bf ordered his favorite carbonara and I ordered my meat lasagna. Our appetizers, clams and soup of the day arrived at a good time. I liked their soup but after awhile it tasted like too much flour. The clams tasted ok at first but the sauce made it taste a little bitter. When our entrees arrived, it looked really delicious! I loved how it was nicely plated. I dug into my meat lasagna and the crusty cheese on top was really good. As I started to eat the middle part, I didn’t like it. I don’t really know exactly how lasagnas are made but this tasted like it was pre-made and then cooked or something. I don’t know?! The texture was hard and it just didn’t taste right. I was a little disappointed. I didn’t want to be mean so I didn’t say anything. I took only a few bites. His carbonara was not bad. The sauce was pretty good but again heavy/floury taste. The bacon was salty. His was better than mine. Decent price but the food isn’t as good as it looks. I was going to give a 2 star but because staff was very accommodating, respectful, nice and friendly, 3 stars will do. I would really love to come back after they make changes to the food :)
