Such a cute and amazing little gem! Got there a little late on a Sunday but had the luxury of having the whole bar to ourselves! So rad xoxo

I love this place! CeCe is a great lady & lots of fun, & I like all of the bartenders except for one-(Vince.) All the rest are fabulous but my ‘fave’ bartender is Brian: he is so pleasant, personable, funny, & he ‘crafts’ drinks, not just pour them. He made me the best drink for me last night on Christmas Eve. Thanks Brian-you rock hard!

The owner is the only bartender. No one else will get you a drink(an employee I asked why no other bartender was available simply replied, ‘I’m on vacation.’) Totally unacceptable. This place is cute but needs to work on its service.

If i lived here this is where I would go for a drink. Both nights we went we had great bartenders(Vance tonight but I can’t remember the gentlemen’s name from the night before). Very friendly and a nice quiet bar.

I love this place. They make the best cocktails. Their bartender, Bryan, is AMAZING. He serves your drinks at your table and is very friendly. I highly recommend this place.

We were the only customers on a Monday night, and we loved it! It feels like the perfect cozy basement. 1 pool table, no drink menu, and cash only — the perfect dive.

Awesome little bar. Brian, the barkeep, was an excellent host. He was great at recommending drinks and even gave us one of his own concoctions, ‘Toxic Waste’, which was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place for some late night drinks. Bring cash. They do not accept cards.

A must if you like dive bars. CC herself really makes the place — she’s been bartending every time that I’ve stopped by and is quite possibly the friendliest bartender I’ve ever met!

Hidden gem in the marina. It’s not fancy but you can go in and feel right at home. Brian is a great bartender who crafts cocktails.

What an amazing little bar! My wife and I went in here after the abomination that was Monaghan’s. As soon as we walked in, we greeted warmly by the bartender and the customers — of which there were only four, but we were treated like we’d been going there for years! My wife had a rum & coke, which was generously measured, and I had a beer and a whisky. Our stopping in for one drink ended up with us spending the rest of the night there, chatting with the bartender, regulars, and getting into a game of pool with two of them. We were also given a drink on the house, and exchanged rounds of drinks with the regulars. We even got to meet CC, who turned up to work the bar at around 10:30pm and was extremely cool and a great character. Add onto that the great jukebox selection, the décor and the fact it’s completely unlike any of the other bro-laden bars in the area, we didn’t want to leave! For our first night in SF, this was a great find, and we’ll definitely try and make it back before we leave if we can!

One of the best kept secrets in San Francisco as far as Dive Bars are concerned. Even people that live across the street have never heard about it. By no means is this a Marina bar which is probably the best thing about it. Actually, the best thing about it is CC herself. I don’t know her story. I’d love to talk to someone who does. She’s an absolute sweetheart who’s happy to see anyone come in though. The other little known secret to CC’s heart is by playing Tina Turner’s «Proud Mary» on the Juke Box. It’s literally CC’s on/off switch. She comes alive and immediately grabs for some of the many photo booth style costumes she has stashed in the back, throws them on everyone in the bar and starts dancing. It’s quite the sight. You’ll love the décor of CC’s, but you’ll keep coming back because you’ll feel like it’s your own private bar/lounge. Show some love.

CC’s is the best bar in San Francisco. Cheap. Great people. Great drinks. Can’t go wrong here.

*On our quest to try 52 places in 52 weeks* This place is a riot. Locals only– the owner and bartender CC(yup) yelled at some people who were lingering outside the door smoking. It was amazing. She has amazing pictures up of people she met including Gavin Newsom(I’m pretty sure she made a comment on how handsome he is) and the whole place has a homey vibe… like you stepped into someone’s living room. The drinks are strong($ 7)and the jubebox has some old school hits. Overall– a nice respite from the local marina scene.

Really fantastic little parlor-esque bar that has a very local/homey feel to it. With that being said, it has a very«locals-only» flavor to it(which doesn’t mean you shouldn’t stop by! Just note that its a really laid back bar). Most of the patrons knew one another, or at least CC the bartender(yes, CC actually works here). The homey vibe also probably comes from the fact that its decorated like an old Victorian living room with red velvet chairs, adorable little love seats, pretty rugs, and even a fake fireplace. It’s pretty darn cute, actually. For the area, drinks are moderately priced(small well whiskey and coke $ 6) and the pours are strong. Towards the end of the night CC seemed to be pretty over serving drinks and was blatantly annoyed — although I guess if you’ve been running a bar for several years its bound to happen, but of course, a bit unpleasant for the patron. Cool spot. It’s a favorite of my friends who live in the neighborhood so I’m sure I’ll be back.

This was literally the very 1st bar my wife and I ever went to in SF, as I was here for an interview/Checking out city/scanning rentals, and this proved and proves constantly to be our favorite place in the Marina, but if you aren’t local to the neighborhood, STAYOUT, as you aren’t welcome! Kidding. kind of. But if you do go, please don’t be an ass, be nice, it’s a laid-back, chill out bar. Cheers!

One of my favorites in the city. It is a low profile place where you can get a stiff drink, play some pool or out of tune piano and feel like you went back in time. Every visit offers something interesting as far as the clientele goes, not the sterile type, but not the obnoxious drunk ones either as CC escort them out herself rather quick. P. S. Bad neighborhood? This is a joke right?(in advance, it was a rhetorical question)

Real bad experience here tonight. My friend is a well-known Unilocal Elite with almost 2,000 friends, but is such a nice guy that he wasn’t sure if he was going to Unilocal, but went there with only the best of intentions and was so heartbroken and distraught tonight that I had just had to review. Like they always say, no good deed goes unpunished. Depending on how things go, he will most likely be posting a review as well. Nobody deserves to be treated this way and so I am pushing him to review too. Anyway, came in here to say Hi to CC. He knew her from years ago and although the place is off the beaten path and in a bad location, he wanted to stop in and say hi to her tonight. There was only one patron at the bar, «Ray»(an alcoholic local who is in love with the bottle) and in the process of friendly conversation, he was repeated insulted and called a «FOOL» by Ray three times. The fourth time was right in front of CC, but she didn’t care. Ray then tried to fight him and grabbed my friend leaving deep scratch marks on his arms(I posted a photo). He could have easily decked and hurt Ray, but instead repeatedly said, «No, not in CC’s bar!» He did this out of respect for CC and her bar(not that she noticed or cared) and at which point CC said both of you out. He immediately agreed and then when he was outside, CC locked the door and let the violent, fighting guy stay inside. Now the irony of this is that the guy who stayed inside was the guy who instigated the whole thing and then became physical(WTF!). My friend was the true victim here. When he tried talking to CC from outside(calmy), she ignored him and walked away to the back where she was out of sight. He also looked up the phone number of CC’s on Unilocal on his phone to talk to CC, but the number didn’t work. The other guy had his drink and looked outside and mockingly laughed. I understand where a bar would want to separate two people during an incident, but when you side with the insitigator who also gets violent and treat a loyal friend like crap, there is something wrong. This really says it all about why CC is so popular with her customers over the years(sarcasm). This bar sucks… if this is how you treat good friends who come by to say hello to wish you good luck and then treat them like garbage for respecting your establishment while forcing them to take verbal and physical abuse, something is wrong. This place won’t last… three months tops.

CC’s isn’t too bad a joint. It’s not too crowded, and the bartenders do a decent job(even though the Guinness here comes in cans… sigh). What killed it for my friends and I is that CC’s is a watering hole for groups of THAT Guy. You know: «Hi everyone! I’m nearing my fourth decade of existence and still am single. Instead of coming to terms with my chronic bachelorhood being the result of a terminal case of douchewad-itis, I’m just going to soldier on and keep this up. «So before I head out tonight, I’m going to put on a new outfit I picked up at Abercrombie/Hollister/Express for Men/Forever 21. I’ll need to shower first, to wash off the extra orange color off my skin from my spray n’ fake tan. Ok… good, now that my clothes are on, time to gel my receding hair line. You ladies won’t notice if I make up for it with volumizer, right? I’m at least another 10 years from needing hair plugs! «Ok, cool, now that I’m ready, I’m going to call up my homeboys at their cribs to let them know I’m on my way. We’re g’s you know? The ladies like that. So as I wait for my ride, I’m making sure to skim through the latest pages of US Weekly to keep myself up to date on the latest trends. «Alright, here I am at CC’s. Time to high five my brosefs. I think I’m gonna play it fast and loose tonight… That’s right, I’m feeling so badass tonight, I’m doing a shot of Jack – WHILE I THROW A BADASSROCK-ONHANDSIGN. That’ll show my cocktail sipping buddies up! «Hahah…wooo…now that my tank is full, time to boogie down with you sexy ladies out there. I’m bringing my A-game tonight! Yeah, that’s right, I’m fire. Shake the dice, shake the dice… reel her in… yeah, you like that? Watch me gyrate my loins like a flacid piñata being whacked. You like that baby? Yeah, that’s right… «Baby One More Time» is coming on… yeah…that’s dirty… let me work it some more. Yeah, see how I’m showing you I can be playful by licking my finger and swirling it around my moob? Yeah, I see you smiling… «Oh, snap! GNR’s ‘Sweet Child of Mine’ is YOUR song?! Totally rad! It’s my favorite stripper’s song, too! I mean, dancing partner! You know, we do pole dancing on Thursday nights for fitness. It’s totally IN right now. «What’s that? What do you mean, shouldn’t I be home tucking my kids in? Hey, where are you going? Aw, why you gotta hate on a playa like that? No love? Let me buy you a drink! Come back! «Please? «Oh gawwwd, I haven’t slept with a woman without having to pay since 2005…» –A day in the night life of THAT Guy at CC’s.* *AKA he who looks to Food Network’s Guy Fieri for inspiration.

Cozy place. It doesn’t get too packed like other bars in the area, which is great because you can actually have a conversation without having to shout. And yes, they have a coin operated pool table.
