I should’ve checked their reviews before we came to this place. I was here on a family/friends trip with about 25 people. We were out looking for a place to watch the football game and came here because we saw TVs up. The bartender was very rude and made us feel very unwelcome. Mind you the place was empty and we were the only ones keeping him busy, he was very annoyed when we kept ordering more pitchers of beer, as if it was way out of his way. I don’t ever want to come back to this place and as for this bartender it’s okay to smile once in a while.

Wonderful people who went over and above to help my distressed friend. *Brittany and Sean should be acknowledged for their compassion and kindness*. Go and enjoy their warm, caring hospitality!

Just popped in & discovered it was happy hour with live music. Had a good cup of clam chowder & crab cake sandwich. I would come here again for lunch. Dinner menu looked a lil pricey

We should have gone to Unilocal first before eating at this place. We orders the crab melt and it was border line spoiled. We complained to our server who called the manager. The manager decided to give us a lecture on food sanitation. We waited for 15 minutes before getting approached by any one. I had to get up and ask for our server. The place was clearly under staffed and the manager was standing around watching his servers sinking. Word of advice RUN.

Terrible food for the price you pay. Service was friendly but pretty slow. $ 35 for a bowl of pasta with no soup or salad is extremely disappointing.

Stumbled upon this place during dinner time. My boyfriend and I decided to try it as the menu looked good and let’s face it we were starving. We are greatest nicely and given a beautiful view. The waiter was super attentive and sweet I ordered lobster ravioli, he ordered the rib eye, Food came out TOOQUICK considering his steak was ordered medium well. My plate of ravioli only had like 5 pieces max, I get its lobster but really? Whatever, it had a nice flavor to it so I tried to brush it off. My bfs steak was super small and didn’t look too appetizing. For a 38 steak it looked like a shitty apple bees 2 for 20! Then I go to open the ketchup so I can pick at my bfs fries… Here it comes; the ketchup was rot! Literally it was thicker than marinara sauce! Ew! How does a restaurant keep ketchup that long for it to rot unnoticeably! WTF! Told out waiter, he kindly replaced it and Apologized. This place has a great location! It has so much potential, we sat and had a beautiful view but other than that it was way over priced for 5 raviolis and a shitty piece of meat. How did the food Coke out so quick? And the rotten ketchup. Not thanks! Don’t think I’ll come here again. They definitely disappointed us. I don’t normally leave bad reviews but this is ridiculous

This place has been open for almost a century, but I bet the folks before knew much more about cuisine. The calamari was the best part of our meal. Definitely a very good item as the cocktail sauce especially KS very good. I ordered the salad with avocado and shrimp. Boy if I knew I would get half an avocado and threw tomato’s along with very small pieces of lettuce with shrimp I’m some pink sauce on top, I would have ordered it. The good part is, is that it was a small portion and it has allowed me to keep on tone with my figure. The staff is friendly here, but some folks need to brush up on their English skills(don’t get me wrong I’m am immigrant as well and my wife is Korean, so she can barely say things that I comprehend lol) as it is not easy communicating with folks in sign language. At the same time who brings two straws in a small napkin, lays them on the table(while I’m sitting there) with the ends touching the table? Not very smart. After all who knows what kind ft Sasquatch sat there before us. Shape up! Been around too long! I lived in Italy as a kid, have some pride piasan.

Overpriced, sub-par, and disappointing. The oyster po-boy was all(mediocre) bread basically. The view was great, and we saw a couple sea lions swimming on by, and I could see how it could be a pleasant spot for drinks or coffee. But pass on lunch or dinner.

This place sucks period! Don’t ever come here! I got the lobster ravioli and paid $ 26! The ravioli only came with a quantity of 5! Looks nice and people are cool, but not worth the money spent here at all! Should’ve just ate at inn in out across the street!

Three of us got the spinach salad with shrimp. The salad was colorful with nuts, apples and strawberries. However, for all of us, the shrimp smelled really bad. Given that my father was a commercial fisherman, I know what seafood should and should not smell like. This was bad seafood, right on Fisherman’s Wharf. The manager did not charge us and we did not eat the shrimp. However, the manager actually said he doesn’t consider Unilocal reviews and doesn’t feel the restaurant has a problem. Looking at the reviews, there is a BIGPROBLEM here. Don’t eat here.

Quick spot to grab lunch with a decent view. Not too fancy but still casual enough. Food and service were good. A little slow for lunch time.

Truly disappointing. I should have checked Unilocal, but instead I looked at what the patrons were eating and thought I’d give it a try. Ordered the crab cake sandwich, comes with fries and and iced tea. The food arrived way too quickly, within 5 minutes of ordering. That means it’s sitting around, not cooked to order. The fries were cold. The crab cake is tiny, overwhelmed by a unheated huge bun, too much remoulade sauce. I understand crab is expensive, but scale down the bun so we don’t feel you are cheating us. $ 17.95 plus $ 3.00 for iced tea. Also, would you turn down the music? Everyone had to shout to be heard.

Expensive and food is very marginal. Spinach salad would have been good except I added shrimp which looked like 2 scoops of raw Long Johns Silvers popcorn shrimp. Calamari was $ 15 and like bubble gum. Go to McCormick at Ghiradelli Square for this price. Water side table looked at dock with junk on it.

Can I leave zero stars? This place doesn’t quite deserve one. I do not like saying negative things about places but I need to save you all(and your money) from a horrible meal and experience. My boyfriend and I were starving after our walk and wanted to try one of the places in Fishermans Wharf. They all started to look the same, and the menu here had all the same options as the other places. So. We decided to try it. I should have turned around after the first two steps in when I smelled the horrid fish smell follow me from outside! But wait – was it even outside? Maybe not. If it was, it got stronger when walking in honestly smelled like dead fish INSIDE this restaurant. Not okay. I wanted so badly to tell my boyfriend we had to leave-but I was thinking that maybe I was just being too picky. Well here is another telling sign– when you’re in a huge restaurant-in the middle of a huge tourist area– where other places are filling up– and there’s only about 5 tables of guests. Not a good sign. People definitely were not lining up to eat! Another reason to turn around… The carpets were disgusting… And our table was kind of sticky. And The bathroom — don’t even get me started. Not that it was the dirtiest restaurant bathroom I’ve ever been in, but it definitely wasn’t clean — and the stall door didn’t properly shut. Here’s the real deal breaker — there were FLIESEVERYWHERE. This place literally had more flies than customers. Also, We waited from the time we sat down, to the time our food came out, for our drinks. Two sips of my beer– and I realized I actually tasted a little bit of dish soap??? My clam chowder looked edible but I could not even stomach to try it. My boyfriend ordered the Pasta Primavera… but by this point we were both too grossed out to eat(as for his dish-it looked like it had been sitting under a heating lamp. I’ve seen school cafeteria lunches that looked better)…not to mention, when we ordered, the waitress really had no idea what primavera was. Strange. So needless to say, we didn’t eat. We actually asked for the check no more than five minutes after being served. He unfortunately paid the overpriced bill and we left. Really hate to leave a bad review, but until they clean this place up a bit– get rid of the fly issue and the noticeably rotten fish smell, I don’t think anyone should spend there money here!

Obviously the majority of the negative reviews are about service(or lack thereof). I can sort of see where that comes from; the service wasn’t horrible, but not quite what I was hoping for. Lots of 10 – 15 minute periods where my server disappeared, and they weren’t busy at all. However, the food quality was great. I had the Cioppino, the classic San Francisco seafood stew. I thought it was very nicely prepared, fresh, and came with quite a few goodies: Dungeness crab(of course), shrimp, scallops, calamari, and salmon. My table couldn’t have been in a better spot — overlooking the fishing boat docks by the Wharf. Overall, this was a good experience. Not«great great», but good.

This place an absolute joke!!! We had reservations at Scomas, but thought we’d stop here for happy hour before our reservations. We were seated at a patio table with NO menu and NO water. Our waiter never approached us in the 10 minutes we sat waiting. I even went to the host and said excuse me can we get some service please. He’s like yea no problem another 5 minutes of no waiter approaching us. So we got up and walked out. This place is NOT worth your patronage considering they have no clue as to how to treat a customer.

I was crackin jokes with those guys while waiting for my date.

DON’T GO!
